Description

Beautiful area fully enclosed with 6' fence at the lowest. Separate entrance to this field from the street. Street parking on dead end road. Approx 400' x 200' field for running or throwing balls or frisbies. Picnic table shaded from afternoon sun. No lighting after dark Weekends tend to get fully booked. If you don't see any open slots Change your criteria to 30 minutes as there might be a 30 minute slot still available. If still no slots contact us as we might have an hour opening between guests. Sniffspot requires 30 minute padding so those gaps won't show up but we might be able to squeeze you in. There is a water hydrant near the chicken coop. Lift up on handle and wait three to four seconds for the water to begin flowing. Turn on splitter valve if no water comes out. There's a large green trash can next to the shed for poo and some bags available if you didn't bring your own. In Summer early mornings are usually cool. After noon the picnic table will be in the shade and an hour or two before sunset a good portion of the field is in the shade. But midday can be hot with no shade. I recommend checking the weather forecast before visiting or only booking 30 minutes when hot

HOST NOTE

There is a barn that dogs could possibly get into under sliding doors. Some antique farm equipment is also present on site. A rabbit occasionally shows up. Usage of trampoline on site is at your own risk and you assume responsibility for any and all injuries and acknowledge this by using it. Children must be supervised at all times.

Come 15 minutes early and leave 15 minutes late. On weekends sometimes it is fully booked except for a 30 minute slot. This allows you to turn your 30-minute slot into an hour or your 1 hour slot into 1.5 hours. There is a mandatory 30 minute padding between visits and this option cuts that padding to 15 minutes. Please only use this if you are unable to book the exact length of time you want through the app

Drive vehicle into field5 credits

Option is good for guest with multiple dogs allowing loading/unloading without leashing everyone up. For most, opening the large gate driving in and closing it would be more work than this is worth but this is an option. Driving in the field is hard on the grass so there is an extra fee to do this. If I am available I might have the gate opened for you when you arrive but if not you can open it yourself. Pull the bar out of the ground to open. Please make sure the gate is closed when you leave

When parking, you can turn around in our driveway or at the end of the dead end, but please do not use any neighbors driveway to turn around as a neighbor has complained. There is a water hydrant in the back near the chickens. To operate, lift the handle up all the way as far as it will go and wait about 5 seconds for the water to begin flowing. If the handle is already up, please leave it up (trees are on a timer) Leashing is mandatory when entering or leaving the spot There are prairie dogs across the road from us and only a rail fence into the horse pasture, so any dog with a strong prey drive will likely take off running. So please adhere to the leashing rule.

Winter ☀️ lighting: sun starts spreading across the yard (from the trees toward the house) around 9 AM; still half-shaded at 11 AM; full sun by 12 PM; shade starts again around 3 PM.

You won't hear or see her. Very secure yard. I close curtains/lock all doors/dog door. *Neighbors are very quiet. Our Sniffspot is on approximately 2 acres and is completely fenced in. Access the pasture in the north gate. Drive into the pasture and then close the gate behind you. Then let those fur babies run. Next to the barn is a table & 2 chairs. Water is available under the deck, please bring your own bowl. Please use the trash can to clean up after your pups. Please book your reservation during daylight hours. Obviously this will change based on time of year. Our house color is barnyard red and the gates are past the house. You are welcome to use the entire backyard & pasture. We have a kids playground, horse shoes, & various seating. We want you to enjoy the great outdoors just like we have! 🦮🐶👏
