Welcome to Bushel Barks private dog park! Let your dogs run, play, sniff, and explore to their hearts' content in our 6 acres of fully fenced woods and fields.

HOST NOTE

This is a natural area, so please be aware there are all of the typical hazards you'd find in woods/fields - uneven terrain, rocks, sticks and logs, mud, insects, etc. There is a small and shallow creek which ranges from completely dry to a few inches of water depending on how much rain we've had. There are also a few piles of scrap metal and old farming equipment that have not yet been removed. Please be careful of sharp/rusty edges.

If you use the water cooler, please only use the tap on the front of the cooler. Please do not open the lid, so that the water stays as cool as possible.

Our farm is primarily a horse boarding and training facility - Bushel Barns Boarding & Horsemanship. As avid dog lovers, we are now thrilled to be able to introduce Bushel Barks - an area dedicated to allowing dogs to roam, play, and explore (and just be dogs!) in a private and safe space.

Welcome! 3.5 Acre Open Pasture. Right now its VERY basic. We are looking add on more fun attractions. There are two sections. One is completely fence in! You will access this area through the gate to the left of the "Enter Here" sign. *FOR ON LEASH ONLY* The other portion there is a fence but it serves as a property boundary . This fence would not a contain a dog who does not have recall. The wire is electric fence wire. The power is turned off to it. We have chickens. They will be enclosed and not a bother to you and your dog! more then likely you will hear our rooster. The coop is not inside the sniffspot. We have two dogs. They will be kept inside. They may bark at your arrival but you will not see them during your visit. There is an in-ground fence for them. But, we do not plan on ever having them out while you are visiting. The perimeter of my property is fenced so you know you’re still on my property. However, it is triple strand so dogs could go through it. We do have chickens and ducks that free roam. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.
