55This Sniffspot was everything we needed after a long week !! There is a nice sized yard, a kiddie pool, pooper scooper, dog toys--including Chuckit set AND she left us treat bags for the dogs ❤️ There was also treats on a stand next to a few chairs. The space is great, there was ample shade and some sunny spots. Fence was secure, we saw no other animals while we were there. Perfect 15/10 would recommend.Molly F.

55Boogie’s playground is an excellent spot! My two dogs are a little neurotic in new places, but adjusted to this fully fenced in backyard paradise quickly. The driveway was easy to find with the cacti surrounded mailbox and festive pumpkin. The Sniffspot sign on the gate was clear and the host even had festive treat bags ready in a basket by the gate for both of my dogs to take home. The back deck was accessible with what looked like new cushioned (very comfy) porch rockers and additional festive treats on a table in between. There was fresh water in a double-bowl stand nearby a toy corner, more chairs, the water hose, and the poop scoop and trash. A higher up basket had what looked like some bug spray, dog shampoo, etc in it. The nice open sky views were great, and the surrounding houses/backyards were very quiet. We did not see or hear anyone else while there during our evening visit. My two just loved roaming around the nice open yard off leash, and found plenty of sunny and shady spots. I got to keep working on teaching the new retriever fetch with the chuck-it ball thrower. We will definitely be returning! 10/10 ⭐️April B.

55Excellent host, great location. Sylvia loved the off leash freedom and especially loved running in circles onto and off of the deck. The treat hunt was a huge hit. Everytime I thought she had forgotten about them, she would take off running, sniffing, and finding more! The mulch, leaves and sand were perfect for a dog that loves to sniff and dig. Christy V.

55This is our 2nd trip to this beautiful spot. The leaves are beginning to fall and I got a wonderful picture of one of the dogs. They had a blast as always, lots of fetch for Valley and Brady enjoyed chilling on the porch. If you have been wanting to try a Sniffspot in this area-- this is definitely the one to try. We are in love with this place, it's very close for us and we haven't seen any dogs out when we go. It's honestly perfect and I could not recommend this spot enough!Molly F.

55What a wonderful time after yesterday's horrible weather. The dogs enjoyed themselves immensely for 2 hours. Weather was great, the yard was not muddy. So happy, once again, that we have found Boogie's Playground!!Molly F.

55Great spot for a dog that loves to explore. My German Shepherd loved walking the entire perimeter of the fence and the wooded area in between sniffing all the new smells. There is a picnic table near the entrance and a trash can. The fence is in great condition. We had a great time!Sarah A.

55Lots of land and fenced in well! It’s nature, so bring bug spray and be wary of poison ivy. Grover enjoyed exploring through the woods and zooming around. I was able to get some work done at the nice picnic bench while he sniffed around. We will be coming back here for sure!Lauren M.

55What a treat to have such a large, fully fenced in area for the dogs to run! My dogs had an absolute blast. The area is totally separated from the house, so it's really easy to get in and park. I also really appreciated the thoughtful details - a toy box with a football, soccer ball, tennis balls, some cook bags and a water bowl. That really enhanced the whole trip! We will definitely be back!!!!Bethany K.

55Splendid in every way; Easy to book, access and enjoy. Quiet with lots of birds and occasional distant sounds of farm machinery. Beautiful, very peaceful and even cozy. There’s a woodland patch at the west end with dry stream running through it, numerous mosses and mushrooms. A pine stand with deep shade at the center, soft walking on the pine straw and that fresh scent! A wide meadow/pastureland strip along the north fence with view (to the west) of a barn and pasture stretching out to the horizon. Low growing grasses and forest flowers fill the lanes between and around all the denser patches. Just brushy enough that my dog could explore the small thickets without me wondering where he went. An enormous red oak stands in the center of the eastern half, nearer the table- it’s gotta be 200+ years old. I saw minimal poison vines, muscadine, blackberry, greenbriar etc. Nothing that made me feel wary in the slightest. Buster explored non-stop for almost the whole 2 hours. Bring some water/bowl - I didn’t see any source of drinking water.Diane H.

FAQ about our Pfafftown dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Pfafftown area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 130 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 20 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby.
