Beautiful little forest oasis 5 mins from downtown! Beth and Joe are lovely and kind folks and offer treats, hand sanitizer, toys, extra poop bags and anything else you and your pup may need. Will definitely be a regular here

Oh, my gosh what a 'hidden gem'! Beth and Joe were not only welcoming us on arrival but their park was welcoming too. Lots of sniffing and exploring for my girls,candidate lots of exploring for me, too! They have created a sanctuary for peace and play. Can't wait to go back when things start to bloom. One would think that I'd taken the dogs to a library as they 'read' and 'explored' again and again. Fresh doggie water, a table and chairs, toys and even poopir bags and hand sanitizer, lots of placed to relax and sit. Very creative trails and decorations. The girls are quite exhausted! Thank you, Beth and Joe. See you again soon!

Our dog (a pitt mix who is part bluetick coon hound) thoroughly loved sniffing all over this spot. He was even quite content to sit and listen to all the nearby neighborhood sounds. A lovely play spot in a great location!

It was on the smaller side, but the trail, all the trees, and the terrain made it super interesting for my two dogs. They also loved playing with a couple of the toys provided. They didn’t want to hang out in the screened in porch, but they went up to check it out. Overall, a great spot!

My Aussie had the best time sniffing, exploring and playing in this hidden gem. Such a relaxing and beautiful space to lay on the hammock while your pups entertain themselves. Toys, doggy bags & fresh water and treats are thoughtfully provided.

This spot is great! It was big enough for my two 50-plus pound dogs to run around in and there were lots of interesting things to sniff. Everything is well maintained and clean, fencing is secure, and there are signs and instructions so it’s very easy to navigate. We looked at the screened porch, but didn’t take advantage of it or some of the other amenities because we were too busy zooming around the wooded trail! The space is private and away from the road so even though it’s in a neighborhood, there was nothing that bothered my reactive dog. It’s less than a mile from 15 501 by the way, very easy to get to!

My dog loved this yard! The hosts have such a thoughtful setup with clear signage and dog toys, water, treats, etc. The space is nicely maintained and the pups loved running loops on the little trail. Thanks for having us!

We had a lovely time at the hidden gem. It was just the right size for our 2 dogs, a German Shepard and a poodle terrier mix. There was plenty of space for them to run and the terrier loved hiding his ball in the leaves. The Beth and Joe's spot is so welcoming. They are very clear on their rules and are so kind to price water (for people and dogs), treats, balls, poo bags (basically everything you might need to have a nice hour or so in their yard with your dog). We'll definitely go back. We think it would be a great spot to do doggy introductions too. All around just lovely.

It is a definite hidden gem in Durham 🖤 My lab pup loved it and it took her mind off teething for a bit! This spot is so well maintained and you can definitely tell dog lovers are the ones that designed it. Thank you! And we’ll be back soon.

We had the best time! Such a lovely spot. Benny & Ellie enjoyed running throughout the property and sniffing all the sniffs. Everything was so well thought out. There was water, toys, treats, bags, towels…we wanted for nothing. Thank you for providing such a safe and welcoming spot for our pups to enjoy! We will definitely be back!

This hidden gem is just that. Our hounds and terriers LOVED this wonderful SniffSpot. Beth & Joe our hosts, went the extra mile. There were toys and balls, poopey bags, and loads of fresh water on-hand for the doggos. The run was fantastic and the doggos whizzed around the play spot for 2-hours. The patio for the humans was perfect and we will 100% be coming back very soon!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Responsive host, convenient location, clearly marked entrance and parking, plenty of water, toys and supplies. Lovely sitting area plus a hammock! Plenty of sunny spots and lots of shade too. Dogs had a great time running around and I can’t wait to come back!

Truly a beautiful little wooded oasis in the heart of Durham. A good sized yard with a nice little walking trail, plus lots of crunchy leaves for Leuk’s favorite activity—rolling in stuff! Entry/parking directions were clear, and the host was very friendly, offering more than enough supplies for a good romp :) Will definitely be returning!

Well maintained and equipped spot! Had 3 dogs and owners with plenty of space. The site was marked from the driveway and easy to access. Definitely planning on booking again and for longer! There were people that the dogs could hear and other dogs barking nearby.

We loved this spot! Our senior pug enjoyed just walking around, sniffing and exploring. Our Staffie Mix puppy loved chasing the balls that the hosts provided so thoughtfully and romping around among the trees. Such a beautiful space. Easy to find and clear instructions. We will be back for sure.
