Puppies must be older than 4 months of age and must show that they are current on puppy vaccinations. Members with puppies should utilize the small dog area and stay with them at all times. 3. Dogs over 1 year old MUST be spayed or neutered to enter TTY. No dog will be permitted while in heat. Any dogs seen to be repeatedly mounting may be asked to leave. 4. Off-leash areas are clearly marked. Dogs must be on-leash unless they are in the off-leash areas. Dogs must be off-leash while in the off-leash areas. 5. Only flat, quick release collars should be worn. No muzzles, gentle leaders, harnesses, prong, pinch, choke and electric collars may be worn at TTY. 6. Dogs should be free of fleas and ticks.

DOG PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS Dog Park Hours of Operation: 7:00AM until sunset daily 1. No animals other than dogs may be brought into the fenced area. 2. Dogs shall have on a collar with ID and display dog license and rabies vaccination at all times while in the park. 3. All dogs must be leashed until safely inside, and returned to a leash prior to exiting. Owners must have one leash per dog at all times. 4. Dog owners must remain in the fenced area while their dogs are using the dog park. Owners must be in view of their dogs with voice control at all times. 5. Dog owners must be age 18 or older to be allowed in dog park area unsupervised. Children accompanying dog owners must be strictly supervised by an adult and be at least 12 years old to be allowed inside. Spectators should remain outside the fenced area. 6. Aggressive dogs and female dogs in heat are not allowed. Owners must immediately leash and remove dogs from the dog park at the first sign of aggressive, hostile, or combative behavior. Any dog found to have bitten another dog/person will lose all dog park privileges. 7. Scoop your dog’s poop and dispose of it in the containers provided. 8. While small, bite-sized training treats are permitted, food in bowls, long-lasting chews, or glass containers are not permitted. 9. Smoking and eating are not allowed inside the dog park. Cigarette butts and food wrappers are tempting and unhealthy for dogs. Wrappers and other litter can be eaten by dogs and cause a choking or digestion hazard which can be life threatening! 10. Sick or injured dogs are not allowed. Owners of dogs with a known sickness/injury or displaying sick or injured behavior will be required to remove their dog immediately. 11. Each adult may have a maximum of two (2) dogs at a time in the park. 12. Puppies less than four (4) months old are not permitted. 13. North Carolina State Law requires that all dog bites be reported to the Animal Control Office at (336) 727-2112. In addition, owners are required to assist in the investigation of incidents of aggression or biting by providing appropriate identification and information to the Sheriffs, Parks and Recreation Department officials, and to other dog owners who are involved with the incident under investigation. Failure to provide assistance and identification as requested will result in immediate revocation of all dog park privileges. Owners are liable for any injury or damage caused by their dogs and are fully responsible for their dogs’ actions. 14. Owners are responsible for any injury or damage caused by your dog. Prevent injuries by supervising your dog at all times. Never leave your dog unattended. If your dog inflicts an injury, please give your name and telephone number to the other dog owner before leaving. You are at all times solely responsible for your dog’s behavior and any damage your dog may cause. 15. Owners must fill all holes dug by their dog. 16. All dogs and owners use the dog park at their own risk. Neither Forsyth County nor Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department shall be liable for any property, physical, or pet damage or injury occurring within the off-leash area. In addition, by using the dog park you are accepting the responsibility for the actions of your dog and yourself. 17. Strollers, bicycles, tricycles, big-wheels, wagons, roller-blades, etc. are not permitted in the dog park, except wheelchairs used by people with disabilities. 18. Wear shoes at all times. 19. No attendant will be on duty. 20. Owners who fail to abide by rules and regulations are subject to loss of dog park privileges. 21. Remove choke, spike, pinch, prong, or collars that may injury other dogs BEFORE play is allowed. 22. The off-leash dog area is for dogs, their handlers, and those accompanying them. No other use is allowed. These areas are designated for canine activities. It is not intended for any other purpose.

The Kernersville Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to close the facility to the public at any time for specified purposes. 21. Alice's Beautiful Fully Fenced Yard For Dogs To Rent In Greensboro

We have a large, beautiful yard that is fully fenced. The fence is tall. The grass is recovering from winter right now so it’s not fully green. Different flowers bloom at different times. See photos for tiny cracks in the fence that my 15 pound dachshund mix cannot get out of…But maybe a really tiny dog can go under or get out of. It’s fully closed off, but the pictures show the minimal gaping happening at 2 places. The yard is beautiful with different types of flowers and trees. We have nesting blue birds into the bird house. We have a baby pool for dogs to play in. There’s a trellis covered patio with a hanging swing chair and outdoor couch. We have a two year old so there are kid toys and sidewalk chalk randomly around the patio. Feel free to use! I have a baby pool set up that I don’t mind you letting your dog use for a small fee add on of $2. There are flowers and plants that bloom at different times of the year. There are lots of birds flying around (except during winter) and a beautiful, big sky. Sunsets are really nice in our backyard. Enjoy the seating area. Park on the street in front of our house. When facing the house, the fence door on the left side is the easiest to enter, in my opinion. Do not use the trampoline. It’s dangerous. Do not use the grill, space heater, or fire pit at this time. It’s not something I want to navigate with guests right now. Thank you! There’s an outlet behind the blue couch. (Lastly, if your dog needs a dog friend, let me know and I can try to arrange for my dachshund/beagle mix to be there and to join in. He likes to be chased. I know most people won’t want another dog with their dog, but if it’s something that would make you and your dog happy, I could bring him out. He’s up to date on everything at the vet. He can be timid at first. If your dog is lonely for a friend, we can try to arrange something.) Message me if you want the wifi info.

We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have additional extras, and feel free to make yourself at home. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for additional specials. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. Hedgecock Dog Park Rules • Hedgecock Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset for use by dogs and their handler. • Use of the dog park is at your own risk. Each owner is solely responsible for their and their dog's actions and assumes all liability for damages suffered by any person or dog injured while utilizing the dog park. If your dog inflicts an injury, give your name and telephone number to the other dog owner before leaving. • A dog park tag is required and may be obtained at the High Point Parks & Recreation office at 136 Northpoint Avenue, High Point or online at www.highpointnc.gov/dogpark. • All dogs must wear a collar displaying their current vaccination tags and dog park tag. • Dog handler must be 18 years of age or older. Children accompanying dog handler must be strictly supervised. • Children under 10 years of age are not allowed inside the fenced area. • No more than two dogs per handler at one time. • Dogs that are sick, less than four months of age, or female dogs in heat are not allowed. • Any dog with a history of aggressive behavior is prohibited in the park. If your dog shows signs of aggressive behavior after entering the park, you must leash and remove your dog from the park immediately. • Dogs must use the appropriate lot according to their size. • Dogs must be leashed and under the owner’s control outside of the dog park. • Dog handler must carry a leash at all times and remain in the fenced area within view and voice control of their dog. • Dogs should not be tethered by the leash to any object inside of the dog park. For their safety, leashes must be removed from the dog while inside the fence. • Choke, prong, pinch, and spike collars are not allowed. • No food (for people or dogs), treats, or bones allowed inside the fenced area. • No smoking, alcoholic beverages, or glass containers. • Shoes must be worn in the dog park. • Pick up your dog’s poop and dispose of it in the containers provided both inside and outside of the dog park area. • Please dispose of your trash in the containers provided. The City of Mount Airy and Mount Airy Parks & Recreation are not liable for any property, physical or pet damage and/or injury occurring within the off-leash area. In addition by using the Park, you are accepting the responsibility for the actions of your dog and yourself. HOW TO ENTER THE DOG PARK: • DO NOT open the outside gate if the inside gate is open. Be Patient! • Small dog area: 25 lbs. and under • Large dog area: 26 lbs. and over • Dogs MUST be leashed until entering and upon leaving the Dog Park. • Enter the Dog Park, close the gate and move your dog away from the entrance. • Please do not leave the gate open. RULES OF THE DOG PARK: • NO dogs without people, NO people without dogs. “No other animals permitted.” • Children under the age of 12 are NOT allowed inside the fenced area. • An adult (age 18+) MUST accompany ages 12-15 inside the fenced area. • Dogs MUST wear valid rabies tags at all times. (NCGS 130A-190) • Dogs MUST be properly vaccinated and healthy. (NCGS 130A-185) • NO dogs in heat. • NO aggressive dogs • All owners MUST remain inside the fenced area. Owners must maintain visual sight and voice control of their dogs at all times. • NO more than 2 dogs per adult • NO puppies allowed less than 4 months of age. • NO Toys, human food or dog food inside the fenced area. • Small training treats are permitted. • NO alcohol. NO tobacco products, e-cigarettes/vapes/juuls. • Pick up and dispose of pet waste. • Discourage digging and if your dog digs a hole, fill it in. • NO choke/prong/pinch collars inside the fence. • Conducting professional dog training or holding special events is PROHIBITED without permission from Mount Airy Parks & Recreation. IF A FIGHT OCCURS: • NEVER REACH YOUR HANDS INTO THE MIDDLE OF A DOG FIGHT. • A BLAST OF WATER FROM A BOTTLE, A LOUD WHISTLE OR NOISE MAY HELP DIVERT ATTENTION • ONCE A FIGHT IS BROKEN UP, CONTROL, LEASH AND REMOVE YOUR DOG TO A NEUTRAL AREA. • MAINTAIN A COOL HEAD, YELLING OR CRYING WILL ONLY ADD TO THE FRENZY. • IF YOUR DOG IS NOT IN THE FIGHT, SECURE HIM/HER AND MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT JOIN IN. • WHEN WARRANTED, EXCHANGE CONTACT INFORMATION WITH THE OTHER DOG OWNER.
