Lots of various plants that should not be ingested. I've never had a dog that ate anything back there, and I've had five dogs. I have been keeping an eye out for dog-dangerous foxtail grass. It was new to the neighborhood summer of '24 and I've been pulling it when I see it both on my property and across the road, to keep it from invading my property. There is a photo for your reference. You shouldn't see any because I am very vigilant in monitoring, but IF you do, please alert me. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible. It is accessed by a drive through the fields that can be a bit bumpy, but does not require 4WD. Hiking shoes or hiking boots are best here. Park in front of the fence with the sign, and it’ll lead to another gate and then the yard. There’s sitting areas, toys, water, poop bags, and all the other things you’ll need. The landscape is unmanicured and slightly wild with quail, rabbits, and deer frequenting the area daily. A new forest has been planted, and the baby trees we ask to be left at peace to grow. We might be out working somewhere else on the farm and hope to see the blackberries slowly diminish, making this place more hospitable every year.
