Description

Decent sized backyard with a few big trees on the periphery, includes some plum trees. Fully fenced in with two gated entrances. I have a kid in elementary school half time and he has a wooden fort/treehouse with steps and a slide that isn’t off limits but probably wouldn’t work as a climbable spot for most pups. You are also welcome to fill the water bowl provided with water from the outdoor tap, just please close tightly. And please only take photos and video for your personal use, no “filming” for promo videos, or any commercial use, etc. No alcoholic beverages. Happy romping with your pups!

Cleanliness

95% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

There are a few plum trees ave in the autumn they are constantly dropping. If you have concerns about your dog eating plums feel free to message me to see if there are plums currently on the ground.

This is a great spot! Yard is big enough for the dogs to be able to really run & romp, but small enough I can see them both. Host provides all of the necessities: poop bags, water bowl, some toys, a disposal bin. The yard itself is full of safe but fun obstacles as well - my 2 crazy pups definitely tried to climb the tree house. There are 2 tiny dogs next door who did come out at one point. I think for most dogs it wouldn’t have been an issue at all - they seem well-mannered & mostly just curious. My dogs, however, are very young & were recently attacked by an off-leash dog in our parking lot… they’ve been super dog-reactive ever since, so there was a bit of chaos for a moment. King & Nala aren’t aggressive in the slightest, but being pitties I always get nervous about how others will perceive their reactivity, so we did cut our visit a little short as they sort of checked out behaviorally after that. This is the closet spot to our house, & we use one nearly every day, so I’m hoping I can train the reactivity out a bit so we can come back :)

Nice area for dogs to explore and play

My pup loved his time at this sniffspot! Very secure and plenty of room to run around. We will be back :)

Great yard for my highly reactive sheltie. Enclosed so you’re shielded from the street, plenty of things to explore. Neighbor dog came out briefly (French bulldog, I think, visible just barely through the fence slats) but he didn’t respond to my guy’s stress so it was really good exposure for my guy. We will definitely come visit again!

I am so lucky to have found this large wonderful playground for my dog! She absolutely loves it! She is a highly energetic dog who loves coming here where she can run, sniff, play with toys and fetch and return the ball with super energy! It is also in a lovely neighborhood with easy access. I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend this fantastic doggie playground! My dog absolutely loves the time she spends here. She gets to smell, explore, play with toys and most importantly - fetch the ball!

Fully fenced - very secure! Lots of space to run and get a quick play session.

We've been coming to this Sniffspot regularly for months and really enjoy it. Our dog, Lupita is a high spirited dog who needs a lot of exercise. She enjoys fetching and we're able to wear her out. She comes home a relaxed dog! It's a convenient location to get to, right off MLK and close to I-5. Water bowl, toys and balls provided.

My dog had a great time here! I loved the secure fencing and he loved chasing squirrels. Definitely recommend!

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD - upon our arrival the yard was covered in Damsum plums. A quick google search reveals the pits when crushed create niacin poisoning which is lethal to dogs and when swallowed whole are a risk for GI obstruction. I understand plums don’t fall the entire year, but if dogs are going to be hosted on a property these plums at the very least should be picked up beforehand to mitigate risk. My pup was very interested in the plums, because of this we had to leave after only being there a short time. Also the host was very delayed in responses prior to our visit and was unaware we were on site until we had been there for some time even though we booked the night prior and I had sent a messages with an inquiry.

Host replied: I have the plum trees on my profile and it would be impossible to pick them up as they are constantly falling. Like I said to you in DM, I disclose the trees on my profile and I trust that dog owners will do there research and consider any risks. I cannot confirm that they are damsons, and I actually don’t think that they are. You booked that morning and I responded that morning. And your inquiry was requesting a change to the time you booked and I could not accommodate it in time. I am a single mother and this app does not require that I be available immediately. And for the record, SniffSpot considers fruit trees an amenity.
