IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. Totally private, partially fenced area with a beach and large pond. Fully fenced from road. Plenty of space for parking. Lots of space to run and swim. A trail is also available around the pond at the edge of the north field, along the edge of the wooded, pine area.

Daily 6 A.M. until 9 P.M. we offer a partially fenced, groomed 1 acre + 2 field play areas, where your dogs can run free. And we offer 4 trails currently. We have chairs in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. There is a pond in the first field but I don't recommend it for swimming except in May, but feel free! Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. Part way back there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring and this summer due to all the rain we have had. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Just past the culvert, we currently offer a trail around our wheat field going East that is plowed currently. It's along woods and takes about 15 minutes ending on the main trail. Just past here, we have a very nice trail around a soybean field, going East initially. This trail is very pretty and easy to follow. It's about half a mile and takes 10 or 15 minutes to walk. There are a couple of wet/muddy spots so be mindful. This trail ends in another small play area and you can continue through a short shady walk, ending back at the main trail at the bottom of the hill. Alternately, you can access the shady walk at the bottom of the big hill once you get there along the main trail. This walk is very pretty, maybe 10 minutes in and back to the main trail. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field trail, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. Cooler times are before 11 a.m. We plan to add a trail through the woods in the late fall once the insects and ticks die off. I ❤️ my Beagle/Lab cross Clover, and our lovely Village of Lakefield. With great walking trails, open fields and dog friendly swimming access on the Otonabee River; all within 5 minutes of my property. Or rather; Clover's PAW-some 🐾 Agility FUN Park, that is! Which, though not fenced, is half surrounded by a thick cedar hedge, has more than 15' of property line trees/lilac hedge, two 8' wide sheds and our 20' wide garage surrounding the back yard and agility course. ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Hello! I own a home in Stirling, Ontario. I have two pups of my own- a papillon and a corgi, so I know what it takes to exercise relentless little bugs. We fenced in our yard last year for them- thus creating, Bella and Charles place. It’s a place of ease, we don’t pooper scoop, there’s always toys outside, there is some seating in the warm months along with an umbrella (please close when done using). There’s a dog bowl outside as well, and the hose for fill in the warm months. We have a kiddie pool upon request in the warm months. We are also seconds away from the Millenium trail, where you can x-cntry ski, walk, four wheel etc. should you want to both play and walk your four legged friend. We do have gardens, please keep your furry friend from digging and munching (for my sake and your pups). Our fence is only 5ft high so if your dog can escape quite easily this may not be the place for them as we are a corner lot and the one road is quite busy. Our front door is fenced into the area so if we have to come or go you may see us very briefly. We have no extra parking but you can park on mill st at the church and walk over or park on the street on baker as it’s very quiet. Looking forward to hosting!
