45This was a great spot with lots of space for playing fetch and running around, a pleasant break during our Northern California camping trip. My dogs were very interested in the neighbor’s dogs, who seemed very friendly. The neighbors were nice to quickly draw theirs away from the fence, but I wouldn’t recommend this spot if your dog is aggressive toward other dogs. (Mine aren’t, so it was just touching noses through the fence for us.)

45It's a lovely spot up there. Water station, fruit trees, and generous host (glean fruit). The dogs had fun.
55The gate and parking are simple. The trash, toys and easy access to water were really nice. The two chairs for people were a nice surprise too. If you have a reactive dog, be aware that the neighbors have dogs that are very visible through the wire fencing. They barked a little but mainly left us alone.

55My dog loved it here. She’s a border collie still training on her recall and we have limited space at home, so having a place like this nearby is awesome instead of driving the 30-40 mins to town. We will be back.
45Clean and size is decent. Would love it if they had more toys available but overall the dogs enjoyed all the sniffies.❤️

My dogs will be kept fenced close to the house far above the field. The neighbor across the road has a great Pyrenees, who is sometimes out in the vineyard. The neighbor in property. below also has dogs who are sometimes out. That said, I can't guarantee there will be no barking from neighbor dogs while you are there.

Turn into the lower gate where the Sniffspot sign is visible along Tanuda Road before you get to my address on Harrison grade. Open the large gate and park in the gravel area. Please close the gate before you let your dogs out of the car.

Description

Nearly an acre of lush grass and wildflowers in a pear orchard. Brand new fencing and gates, secure the entire property. A freshly laid gravel driveway and parking area is provided along with various seating areas, and a hose for washing off the mud. This is a working orchard and farm in winter there is ciderand stored apples for sale along with preserves. Message me if you are interested and I will let you know what is available.

Hazards

In winter, some areas of the property are a bit muddy, but easy to avoid. I have not been able to fully mow the area yet due to soft ground for tractor. There are young foxtails out now, so if your dog is apt to sniff a lot on the ground, they could be a hazard.
