Description

Welcome to our hobby farm! Dog Day Farms boasts 5 acres of maintained walking trails and a fully-fenced 1000sq ft play area, complete with splash pool, activity equipment and a shaded seating area. The trails are also bursting with Maine flora and wildlife, making for a fun nature walk. We also offer several chairs & benches along the trails, placed in a few peaceful locations, and welcome you to bring a picnic and relax with your pup! We are happy to provide water, dog bowls, and a few other essentials (bug spray, poo bags, etc) for your comfort. We look forward to your visit!

Hazards

We share the space with wildlife such as skunks, porcupines, foxes, coyotes & wild turkeys so we ask that dogs please be leashed for their safety while walking on trails unless under very good recall. There are also wild peas & mushrooms that can be toxic, please do not eat anything found on trails. There are a lot of bees among the natural vegetation that lines the trails, please use caution if allergic.

For their safety, please keep dogs leashed until on the trail past the barn or inside fenced area. The barn, fire pit & side/front yard is off-limits, so is the enclosed garden across from the fenced dog play area. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. For liability reasons, no human children under 18; 2 humans allowed per dog. The bright pink posts indicate boundaries of the permitted trail access. Digging up, eating or otherwise removing/damaging any plants from the property is prohibited. Thank you!

Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
