55Gina is very responsive and kind. We had a lot of fun walking in the woods and throwing balls. There was a space at the end of trail where our family of 4 and the dog played fetch and freebee.
55Another great time at our own private puppy playground! Thanks so much!
55Rocky and I loved it so much we stayed for 2 hrs and only left because I was getting hungry for lunch 😂. The trails are beautiful and the play park is a nice little space with climbables for the dog to explore and plenty to sniff. Be careful however as there’s two gates (one on trail one toward building) and the building side gate isn’t sturdy at all. My dog bumped it and got it open. Luckily he stopped to sniff a bush (we’re working on recall) and I was able to get him back but it could’ve been bad. I just kept him dragging his leash after that and tied my sweatshirt to keep the fence closed. Maybe a caribeaner could be used for more security there. Otherwise it was awesome and I can’t wait to book again!
55My pups had a fantastic time frolicking and playing! The trail was clearly marked and easily accessible. Host was responsive and accommodating to my questions. We will be back. 🐕 🐩
55I was so thankful to Gina for her quick response to my messages inquiring about the fenced vs not fenced areas. In person she was super friendly and seemed really passionate about providing a great experience for pups and their people. The trail was nice and the dogs enjoyed the stream. We were most excited for the “dog park” area where the puppies could play off leash without us worrying about any runaways. Definitely a spot I would come again and recommend! Thank you so much!
55Great spot for a great price. Me and my dog enjoyed the stream and hiking trail. The pine forest is beautiful. We will definitely visit again!
55Well marked trail and super clean!
55The short walk to access the brook was perfect for my senior, arthritic dogs. You can tell there is care and effort put into making this a welcome spot for all doggos.
55Nice marked trail, great spot to run around and refresh in the creek! My dogs had a lot of fun! Bring bug spray!!
55 Nicely marked trail through the woods, starting out with a small stream for dog to cool off and play, according to owner more trails are coming. Perfect for short hikes. Owner is friendly and planing for more dog friendly items, such as ‘poop stations’ where u can get bags in case u forgot.

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Water is available via the hose located on the fence near the trash can. The white plastic container can be filled as needed. Please dump the water when you are finished and place the bowl upside down to keep it from collecting rainwater. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
