Welcome to our peaceful family farm, where dogs can fully embrace their true selves in a safe, open environment. Nestled on 10 acres of yard and woods, your dog will have ample room to run, play, and explore. For the adventurous pups, there’s a scenic hiking trail through the woods, offering over 3.4 miles of shaded paths perfect for hot days. If you’re seeking a more secluded experience, we also have a fully fenced-in 436,000 square foot pasture. With advance notice, we can clear the pasture of feathered friends, providing an uninterrupted space for your dog to roam freely. Just a short 2-minute drive from the beach, our farm is the perfect retreat for dogs and their families looking for fresh air and wide-open spaces!

The Farm

Large open grassy horse pasture (no horses will be in it at time of visiting). Fenced with "no climb" wire from the ground to about 4' Large 10'x24' open run-in shed provides shade. Water spicket conveniently located near gate.

Lastly feel free to take advantage of the view of the horses which FYI you can also pet if you walk up to the gate!

Recently got some trees cut down but we have a good space for a little doggie fun! I found that kids and dogs love the same things haha. Still working on a potty area near the fence entranc, as well as a rock border, but awesome place to chill and read a book while your dog runs around and explores. If your dog is friendly, would love to pet your pup! My middle is allergic so we will never be able to have a dog but we love them. I do have plants, so if your dog eats them, this may not be the yard for you. Have a sandbox with dirt for digging and a coaster for them to climb. There is a small opening under the deck, so if your dog is tiny, they may be curious to go under. I do use organic pet friendly weed killer sometimes but I try to keep the back as organic as possible.

We have been overwhelmed at the support our spot has been given by so many wonderful dogs and their humans. Currently, we are facing some unforeseen circumstances and hard decisions have had to be made. That said, for the indefinite future, Penny’s Place will only be open during the morning hours of 6 am until 8 am. There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires!
