55Loved being able to just let my pup roam! It does have roads on two sides and not fenced, however it did not bother us and our pup had a good time! Will return!
55Yard and area is beautiful. Important to note there is no fencing. We all enjoyed our visit.
55Amazing spot for the pups!!
55A nice big stretch of field to play in! Hosts have kindly mowed and provided water, and there is some shade by the corner of the field. Be aware that the road nearby is fairly active, and my big dogs could easily fit under the fencing at the opposite side, so if your pup is working on recall it may not be a great spot for you, but mine were all happy to stay close and fetch balls, so we had a blast.
55Zeus absolutely loved this place! The view was really nice! Love the open space and quietnesses! It was very relaxing.
55This spot is amazing! Lots of room for the pup to run around. The views from this spot are beautiful as well. There is no fence between the road & the property, but the play area is huge. The area closer to the road was easily avoidable. Plus my pup has good recall. My pup & I will definitely be back.
55My dogs had a lovely time. It was hot while we were there and there’s no shade so we were very thankful for the water bowls.

Description

1.5 acres for your dog to play in. The west side is open to the road, but has a drop off to slow your dog from going into the road. With that said, still a HUGE area to play in, safely for your pet.

Cleanliness

Hazards

Be aware of access to the road. With dog control, your animal is safe from the street.

Extras

Washougal Valley View$10

With a wonderful view of the Washougal valley, your dog has a large fresh cut field to play in. It’s mowed every 7-10 days. So the grass is kept short. As a field it has no chemical sprays on it. The residence area, that is off limits, is treated. You will notice a paved road and a studio barn for 1-2 car parking. We had a dog that’s SO missed. This field was meant to be played in for our dog. Now it is ready for yours.

Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property with my infant, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our two dogs can be heard sometimes from this field (inside the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. Water access I strongly recommend against use during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!
