55Felt very safe at this property. It was a little hard to find, but when we got there the fencing was very good. I actually sat down for a few minutes knowing he couldn't escape. Thank you to the host.
55My dog loved zooming around the yard and splashing in the kiddie pool! The fence is very secure which gave me peace of mind. It’s wonderful to have a place to let my energetic dog roam and run free. I will definitely be going back!
55Great, open and secure space. Lots of fun areas for them to sniff and explore, and plenty of room to run. Also well maintained and clean. We will definitely be back!
55This was Bangle’s first visit, so she did a lot of sniffin, stretchin on the grass, and explorin. Just before leaving time, she started running and fetching, so we’ll go back again soon to keep up the fun.
55We made our first visit to Mariclare's spacious backyard today and it was a great success. Wide open space with lots of sniffing opportunities for Fiona and nice shady spots with benches for me. I especially appreciated the tall, very secure fencing around the entire space, especially when Fiona spied a squirrel running along the top of fence. When we first arrived, a neighboring dog barked for a minute or two, but then stopped. Thank you for welcoming us to your wonderful Sniffspot, Mariclare! We will definitely return!
55Love this Sniffspot!!! 2nd time here. Bean loves it, plenty of sun and shade. Benches to sit on, which is always a plus. Also, it’s in the shade. Huge open backyard with a kiddie pool for the dogs. Bean loves to run and sniff around. Was another amazing time here, can’t wait to go again!!! Definitely recommend this Sniffspot. My favorite is the fence around the property, very secure and private. Quiet neighborhood. Thanks again!!!
55Very nice place.
55Great secure fenced back yard. There was a neighbor dog, so there was some barking back and forth. There is also a back porch with steps that the dogs could not resist running up and down. Hopefully, we did not disturb anyone. The kiddie pool is a nice touch on a sweltering day. Fresh water from a hose as well. Great sniffs around the shed. Brain exercise is good too. We'll definitely visit again. Note to people who use this sniffspot: do the right thing and pick up after your dog!
55This is my favorite one so far! So much room and so secure with a kiddie pool. It's just gorgeous 😍
55Of course we had to do a happy update! Still our favorite place to be 😊

Hound Hill Rustic 1 Acre Fenced Private Dog Park in West Avon

Find us on Facebook! Search: Hound Hill, 1 acre fenced private dog park in West Avon Hound Hill is a fully fenced one acre wooded doggy paradise. We have our own pack of four dogs and created this space for them. They use the large yard daily but will always be secured inside the house for the entirety of your visit. Hound hill is an unimproved wooded area, but we have cleared brush, leaves and sticks for easier walking and playing with your dog. Our fence is mesh critter fence which is wildlife friendly for the deer, bears, bobcats and other animals that travel through our property. If you are looking for a large space for fetch or just to let your dog explore then this is the place! Please note that the dog park is on a hill and there are no paved or flat areas within the park. It is recommended that you wear good shoes with traction and are comfortable walking through an unimproved wooded area. There are rocks, sticks, leaves and uneven terrain. If you have physical limitations this park may be very difficult for you to use. When you arrive please take time to walk the fence line with your dog on leash first to ensure the fence is intact. Due to the nature of critter fencing and the abundance of wildlife, we have had occasional breaks caused by deer and bear as well as branches that have fallen. If you spot any issue please message the host and they will immediately address the issue. We love this fence because it does not entangle the wild animals and is very easy to repair. This means we have to inspect it often, and we do, but for the safety of all we encourage each doggie chaperone to do their own visual inspection before allowing dogs free rein. We do treat the area with cedar oil for ticks. We do not use any herbicides or pesticides or fertilizer. Please pull all the way into the drive and park in the gravel spot to the left of the garage. There is marked parking for one vehicle. If you have additional vehicles please park the second vehicle in the culdesac and walk in. Do not block the garage doors. Enter and exit through the gate directly in front of the parking spot. Please do not use the gate on the other side of the lot for any reason. Please do not use the smaller fenced area directly off the back of the house. Please pick up after your dog. Removal of dog waste is imperative in order for us to continue to offer this spot. Water is available via the hose located on the fence near the trash can. The white plastic container can be filled as needed. Please dump the water when you are finished and place the bowl upside down to keep it from collecting rainwater. Thank you so much for visiting, I love seeing our clients and their dogs enjoy themselves so much while playing freely!
