After enjoying a fun-packed time in Sammy’s Playground, why not take advantage of the well-maintained sidewalks along Park Street and the many adjacent neighborhoods? The sidewalk is on my side of the street, set back from the road and is 3’ wide. Don’t forget your poop bags. And, I simply ask that you move your vehicle to the basketball hoop side of my driveway.

To be included at a minimum and with such rules stated herein in this document, the most significant rules follow common sense, but it is also expected that guests will be respectful of our land and property, and that of our neighbors,’ - keep all 4 gates locked at all times, especially when you are in the backyard - toss dog waste into our woods or the bucket using one of the 3 sets of provided shovels and rakes (not over the fence into the neighbors’ wooded areas) - make every effort to keep your dog(s) from damaging plants and plantings - leave the property as you found it (return furniture to original places, for instance) - report any damages or concerns. You will find that we are pretty easygoing and don’t get hung up on the little things. We care more that we know than not.

Hi, we’re Sherri and David… married for 35 years now and still going strong. We raised our two sons here, Justin and Mitch, and have had the pleasure to supplement our family with countless dogs and cats, and even a couple of indoor bunnies and a tortoise. We mostly adopt senior dogs, but this time we fell in love with an adult dog (6 years old). He is a big black lab/German Shepherd mix named Sammy (he’s a rescue from Texas, our 5th); hence, we named this Sniffspot “Sammy’s Playground” after him. Sammy’s unpredictable behavioral issues make him a poor candidate for any public playground. It’s for this reason that we created this private playground - so that dogs like Sammy can enjoy a safe and secure place to play, zoom, SWIM and sniff. It’s why we offer the play space for the affordable rate, because we are sensitive to folks having dogs like our Sammy. *** As an aside, our volunteer work focuses primarily on collecting donations of dog items for PAWS New England, a large dog rescue organization, a 501(c)3. Donations of dog and puppy food are needed. We will happily accept donations on your behalf- dog and puppy FOODS are paramount!! You can always otherwise donate through their website, find another rescue pup and learn of other opportunities to get involved, including how to become a foster parent/family. PawsNewEngland.com Thank you for considering Sammy’s Playground
