***THE LARGE BACKYARD IS AVAILABLE ALL YEAR (WEATHER PERMITTING). THE POOL IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE WINTER SEASON. THE POOL IS SCHEDULED TO OPEN IN APRIL 2026.*** We are centrally located near York Hospital and York College. Easy access with off street parking. **FOUR PERSON MAXIMUM PER VISIT** No one under the age of 18 is permitted on the property at any time during Sniffspot visits.

Please no glass by the pool or in the yard. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. When the pool is open, only two human handlers per pup at a time are permitted in the water while swimming/interacting with the dog(s). Please stay engaged with your dog(s). No human swimming is permitted without dog interaction. ***No one under the age of 18 years old is permitted on the property at any time.*** It is the responsibility of dog owners to ensure that all dogs can swim or have a swim vest before entering the pool.

Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
