But he goes where I go (service dog) and he tries to keep up with little sister. Well today it worked. He swam!! For the first time in his life! That just made my day! We're still working with her to go in the water, but the pool was clean and lovely. Hosts provided a ton of helpful items like poop bags, treats, a first aid kit, dog towels, water and disposable dishes, cleaning supplies, and lots of toys! The pool area is beautiful as well as the landscaping and large yard. Our senior dog enjoys wandering around so it’s the perfect place for both of them. The hosts go above and beyond with lots of extra thoughtful touches and it’s obvious that they love dogs. They are super hosts!

55What a great spot! We had so much fun! We have a Mini Aussie and he has so much anxiety so it was so nice seeing him swim and run around and enjoy his day! The location / parking was easy to find! The pool was great as well as the yard! The host has a cute station set up with everything you can think of for your pup(s). We only booked an hour because we weren’t sure how he would do, but we loved it and we will deff be back next summer for longer than an hour! We had a wonderful time with our 3 dogs. The directions and instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The house and property are just gorgeous. A very peaceful and serene environment. The pool is large and clean and a very comfortable temperature. They provided treats, toys, water and more for the pups. The pups enjoyed running around the large yard and we worked on our swimming skills. Will be back!

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the York area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
