The back property is L-shaped. The majority is open space so plenty of room for zoomies and catch. There is some bushes, wild areas, and trees to experience new smells, and play hide-n-seek. FYI - Bring water. The spigot was turned off for the season. Our requests: 1) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 2) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare. 3) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage Grandfather Oak (Tree) that's over 200 years old! We plan on staying open year round as long as weather permits. As the weather is changing and days are getting shorter please book no later than 6:30pm. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). Take your dog to our homestead and rest in our shaded studio while your dog can explore, sniff, and play in our 10,000 sqft fully fenced pasture. You and your dog(s) will have the pasture to yourselves during your booking. Parking under our carport is for you. To get to the Sniff Spot after parking: 1) Take your leashed dog to the path to the right of our home. Dogs must be leashed to and from your car to the pasture. 2) Once you approach the greenhouse/hoophouse, take the trail to the right and you will see a latched gate. 3) Enter the gate and close it behind you, ensuring it is latched. 4) Let your dog free! 5) Please pick up after your dog. You can dispose of your doggy bag at the brown trash can at Kennedy and our gravel driveway. 6) Please ensure gate is fully latched when you enter and leave. In addition, if you keep your dog leashed, feel free to hike the small network of trails due south of the greenhouse during your visit.

We offer our 18 acres fenced in area. We specialize in reactive and fearful dogs. We understand the challenges of having a dog that is scared and how important is to have a place in which you can relax and enjoy him/her/them instead of being hypervigilant looking for triggers 24/7. And moreover, we want your dog(s) to have a place in which he/she/they can be happy and have fun instead of being constantly looking for triggers and feel stressed out. Here you will see no triggers (but a chicken or turkey here and there, which would probably add to the enrichment experience) We hope you can relax and enjoy playing with your dog and have him/her/them go home tired, satisfied and happy. As extras, your dog(s) will still be able to smell different animals like deer, turkey, squirrels, snakes, frogs, and also play in our small agility area. You will not have to see any dogs while being here, no worries we have you cover. Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! New to the spot are solar lights. These light up the seating area at night, so feel free to book those cool fall evenings 🍁 🐾Splash Pad has been put away until next year🐾 NOTE: This time of year, mushrooms grow in our yard after rain. These are standard lawn mushrooms and should not pose a threat to your dog other than the possibility of an upset tummy should they eat a lot. We do our best to remove these as we see them come up, but be aware you may see a few stray mushrooms, and they are NOT toxic.
