We live on a beautiful farm on the Mississippi River in the middle of Arnprior, Kinburn and Pakenham. Enjoy the quietness of the country with our very private dog park! Our field is fully fenced with 6' chain link fence, including a double gate to ensure that no dog can ever escape. Water is available for the dogs, and seating is available under our beautiful trees in the shade for you. As the fall starts to get colder and winter is upon us, we do plan to stay open for the winter. We plan to snowblow parts of the field so that there is a path when the snow gets super deep, and we’ll try to keep the area directly beside the barn clear for you. This is our plan… we’ll see how it works out in reality. :) If you have snowshoes, it may be a good idea to bring them some days depending on how much snowfall we’ll get. There is a bench around the tree on the far hill for you to sit on if you like. There are very few distractions here so it is a great space for play and/or training. Our dog park has a 2 acre 5 foot fenced-in play area that has an open area for running and a small forested area that is great for sniffing. There are some obstacles to explore , an area to play fetch and run free, and a waste disposal station. Some sun , some shade and lots of room to run, sniff and explore. Enjoy clean, fresh air while your dog romps, and explores . There are natural roots and rocks in the field, some brush and a large flat grassed area. It is a field so the ground is uneven. Whether your dog loves to sniff and stroll, do zoomies, climb obstacles or play fetch there are options for all. There is parking for up to three cars, with access directly off the road. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. We’ve been to a few sniffspots with our pup but this is by far the best one! The owners clearly care about not only the fun but safety of you pup. The lawn was very well maintained and super clean. They have clean garbage and poop bins plus a poop scoop incase you forgot bags! They also have lots of signage out so you are never confused where to go. Would recommend this spot over any others I’ve visited, will for sure be back!

The is space is really great! Very close to the highway and easy to get to. The dog park is double gated and very secure. There was water and a bin for pool bags, some agility equipment, chairs and a bench. The grass was cut and very well groomed. It was a great spot to do some fetch and training. Definitely check it out especially if you have a dog that needs recall work or needs a fenced area.

Romeo and I really enjoyed this spot. It is fully fenced and secured, there’s a small kid pool, drinking water and a hose for your dog incase your dog gets warm. It located in very sunny spot. There’s a few shady spot but just something to keep in mind! Bring your sunscreen. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Cheryl and Dave's Dog Park! From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made us feel right at home. The space is incredibly well-maintained and has everything a pup could want, including a small (clean!) pool for cooling off, agility jumps, and a few toys like a frisbee and a Chuckit ball. Our dog, Mason, had the time of his life running free and exploring the space—something he rarely gets to do. It was such a joy to watch him make his own choices instead of exclusively being on a leash while outside. The secure space allowed us to relax while Mason played, and we appreciated the fresh bowl of water provided for him. There were also a few outdoor chairs set up in the shade that we used to sit comfortably and enjoy the view while keeping an eye on our pup. We did hear a dog bark but it was so far off in the distance that it wasn’t distracting at all for our dog. What we learned for next time is to bring an extra towel, just in case our guy wants to lounge in the pool again, lol! We can’t wait to return and create more memories. Thank you, Cheryl and Dave, for sharing your beautiful space with us. We’re sure Mason will be dreaming of his next adventure in this lovely space!

cheryl and dave’s property was fantastic! it was very clean and the water and toys for the dogs were great. my newly rescued pup becca loved being able to run around in such a large space, and i loved how secure it was and the lack of noise. the area was plenty big enough for her (med mixed breed) to go for a full sprint and she is clearly very tired out after coming here 😁

Cheryl & Dave’s spot was amazing! Instructions and communication was very clear and the property was even better than I had hoped.
