Rent safe and private small dog parks hosted by locals in Auckland, Auckland

Amazing space for our reactive baby, no other dogs or triggers. Had an amazing time swimming and generally running around, lots of smells and scents to investigate, and duck poo to roll in 🤣🐾 She was so happy! Her own little self lead adventures with no commands or constraints. Definitely be back!

Great place for your dog to run around and have a sniff! Maybe just some signage to make it clear where to go and park but other than that the pup had a great time :)

Excellent spot for the dogs! They had so much fun exploring the paddocks and cooling off in the creek. They are looking forward to returning soon!

What a great spot! Our dog loved running between the paddocks, lots of sticks for her to chew and some patches of water for her to have a paddle in as well. Instructions were helpful but as mentioned in another review, some signage would be great once they’ve got that up! Thank you!

This spot is gorgeous! Well maintained lawns, lots of space to spread out, good visibility so you can keep an eye on your dogs easily. My big reactive dog loved the water spots (we did have to be careful around the more narrow bits as he is a boomba) and it was reassuring to see the double fence situation so he couldn’t escape. Lots of shade, heaps of places to chill out. Really impressed! Shelley’s communication was great and she answered all my questions quickly and fully. We’ll be back soon (and will remember to take photos next time)!

✅ Reactive dog ✅ Dax behaves aggressively towards other dogs, so it was really nice to see this private place pop up for rent. After 5 minutes I started to relax and enjoy my time there with him (after the usual reactive dog parent head swivelling stops 😂). It was out of the way and fully fenced with a closable gate to secure the area. There were horses grazing in the paddocks at the back end, but they only came to the fence to catch some shade for 5 mins before off grazing again. ⚠️ There was a man with 2 off leash dogs in the soccer field adjacent to the section ⚠️ It was no fault of the host that they were there, but if you have a reactive dog like Dax it might pay to cast your eyes over there every now again during your visit. There is a fence in between but a keen dog might be able to get through. We kept out of sight and away from that fence-line once we spotted them, there was more than enough room to create distance. All in all I think this is a really cool spot for sniffs!! I’m just leaving a super thorough review because I know there are sooooo many people out there with dogs like mine who would really benefit from using such a space 💜 it’s hard knowing where we can exercise them safely and actually ENJOY our dogs. Dax loved the water part 😂 neither of us cared about the mud, it was WAY too much fun! Pictures are proof!! I am so grateful to the host for allowing us to use this space 🥰🙏 Thank you. I look forward to next time!

My wee boy absolutely loved his time here. He’s just a babe so we are working really hard on recall and it’s great to be able to do this in a safe space. Thanks so much!

Awesome Sniffspot! It does feel awkward because you’re pulling up to a stranger’s house but let the van photo be your guide. It’s the nature of the system and just know you’re in the right spot! My girl had a great time exploring and sniffing all the things. Romped in the stream a bit and found so many sticks to chase and chew on. We will be back!

Good easy stroll sniff spot. Well kept fields. Unsure if we entered through correct gate as it was wide open to driveway on arrival.

Great spot, highly recommended, will go again. Can't wait! Suggest using Google Maps to find the place, as it can be a little tricky. There's a side road (really a large driveway) just before/after the large roundabout. Go all the way down this (looking out for the street number), until you see the picture with the van. There's a paddock with dog toys/pools/bowls by the entrance -- this is the spot.

Awesome spot - would highly recommend! Follow your GPS app of choice, then you'll find the spot with the pictured van and gate to the left of the residence. Key things we loved: ⭐️ Fencing kept our two girls (Huntaway x and Jack Russell) contained, so we were happy for them to explore off-leash ⭐️ Clean property with well-maintained grass ⭐️ Several fenced paddocks with natural features like a creek, bushes and trees ⭐️ Gates, in case you want to contain your pup(s) to certain paddocks ⭐️ Lots of tree shade, great for a break from the sun ⭐️ Sniff spots include grass along fences, trees, logs, branches, pinecones and more! About the surroundings: ℹ️ There were two horses on the property adjacent to one of the back paddocks. There was double-fencing between them and the horses moved away after a while. ℹ️ As mentioned in previous reviews, Fred Taylor Park is to the left of the paddocks. There is fencing and plenty of space on the property to maintain distance, in case you're conscious of other people/dogs. ℹ️ We heard dogs barking a couple of properties away, but we didn't see any other people or animals on/near the property otherwise. ℹ️ Our Huntaway x can be reactive (on leash) to unfamiliar people or animals, but she had no problems with the surrounding distractions! Thank you Shelley for hosting a safe space for our pups to play in 🩷 So looking forward to our next visit!!

Great place for dogs to roam & play. Nice & quiet with shade from trees and some seats when us humans need a rest. Our dog is happy and we are happy its a win win 🙂

The dogs had a fantastic time. It was so nice to not have to worry about off lead interlopers. We did have trouble finding it though even with Google maps. Look for the red brick fence at the entrance

Dogs loved it! Good mix of shade and sunny paddocks. And clusters of trees with the creek too. And good sized clear areas for a whippet to absolutely motor. Entrance is a little confusing for gps. But there is a big brick entry fence with letter boxes at start of shared driveway. That's a good marker. Head along there and once you are down the drive to the sniffspot there appears to be a couple of entry points/gates to the land. One has a kind of frisbee tied to it ! Enjoy

This place is great! A nice group of small fields with a creek, chairs and some shade. My dog loved it. There were two horses in the next field over separated by a double fence and some vegetation. My GSD either didn't notice or didn't care. We'll for sure be back!

Another visit to this spot, the dogs loved the new little obstacles that have been set up. Great place for summer as the dogs can cool off in the stream and there’s shaded areas too. Thanks again for hosting us 😊

Turn off was a bit hard to spot but got there in the end. This was total dog heaven and great that there is somewhere for them to swim as it was a hot day. Will definitely come again.
