This is 7 acres to explore of wooded areas with 2 creeks and lots of shade trees. It is not fully fenced, so please keep dogs on leash. We have 4 ranch cats and chickens (cooped). There is an rv park across the street, and a doggie boarding facility behind us, so your dog may see or hear other dogs. People in the area are dog friendly but this is not a fenced dog park, it is a wooded area to do hiking up some rocky sloping hills and see interesting nature. What a beautiful spot for dogs to play and roam! So much space to explore. There’s a sign telling you which side doesn’t have a fence but plenty of space away from that area that I still felt comfortable taking my dog off leash and had no issue. Denise provided so many amenities such as bottle water, bug spray, sunscreen, ice water for the dog, balls and frisbee and even a little baggie of treats! A great Sniffspot that we will be coming back to!

ABSOLUTELY worth the 1 hour drive to get here! My first ever sniff spot and i could not be happier! There was so much space and room for them to run an explore, lake, forest, open flower field they had it all! The host also left some water and treats and toys! My pups left so tired but so happy! We have Annie, a 2yo female Catahoula Leopard Dog who loves to explore. We’ve exhausted all the routes in our own neighborhood so my wife suggested we try Denise's Private Dog Paradise. Today was a beautiful June day in North Texas, and Annie led us on the main trail to the property’s north fence line. Then we reversed course with Annie happily leading the way. When she saw the pond, Annie beat the heat by wading right into the water and lying down. She was smiling ear to ear! Annie loves to swim in ponds and lakes, but she will not enter our pool no matter how hot it may be. We really enjoyed our visit to Denise's Private Dog Paradise, and we will return soon! We traveled from Dallas to visit Denise's sniffspot at the recommendation of our trainer. We had a great time, even in the height of summer! Many of the paths were shaded and there was a shady spot to sit right by the pond. There were water bowls, a poop trash can, and water/granola bars left at the entrance. Highly recommended!

It’s a great spot to let dogs be dogs! Lots of space to wander. While paths are easy to see and generally nice and wide, it’s a natural area, so long pants are a good idea to avoid bugs, etc. My dogs had a blast!

My only complaint is I should’ve booked a longer time slot! Easy to find; ample parking, multiple sitting areas, lots of mowed walking paths to explore and easy access to the pond/creek. The host responded quickly and was very accommodating. Thoughtful extras like bugs spray, poop bags, treats, etc. We will definitely be back!

Our pups had so much fun!! Easy to get to, and the tennis balls, treats, water, and sunscreen/bug spray were a nice touch. It is outdoors so expect bugs, brambles, cactus, etc…but that added to the adventure for us. At the back corner we heard a neighbor dog bark a few times, but our guys aren’t bothered by it/we’re too interested in their adventure anyway.

My dogs loved this spot. It’s a huge property with many trails. Half shady, half sunny. Water was provided in a cooler at the gate, as well as a basket with frisbees and balls. There are a couple of spots to sit down and relax, which we took advantage of several times. There’s a pond a short walk in, but we did not use it out of fear of summer algae. My dogs had so much fun trotting along the different trails, chasing after balls, chasing rabbits, getting in trouble for chasing rabbits, taking in the new smells, climbing trees, and posing for photos. My only complaint was the constant assault from the thousands of grasshoppers in the fields. My dogs didn’t mind them, though, and they were even thoughtful enough to bring one into the car with us when we left, which I SO appreciated and loved discovering while driving on the interstate. I can’t wait to visit this spot again.

Beautiful weather and lots of things to explore! I brought my golden retriever and she had a blast. I brought my 11/13 year old boys too and they had probably more fun than the dog! We did have a lot of those soft small stickers so bring a brush to help the dogs out. Will definitely be back!!

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
