DOG PARK RULES & REGULATIONS • The Ocean County Off-Leash dog area is for use by permit only. (With valid ID card - see below) • Owners are responsible to bring a water bowl for their dog. • Management reserves the right to close the area due to weather conditions. • Children under eight (8) years of age are not permitted within the off-leash dog area. Children eight (8) years of age and older must be closely supervised by an adult. • There is a limit of two (2) dogs per person. When others are waiting, please limit your use to thirty (30) minutes. The maximum number of dogs at one time is twenty (20). • Owners are responsible at all times for the behavior and safety of their dogs and should be considerate of others. • Puppies under six (6) months old are prohibited. • Dogs must wear collars displaying valid licenses at all times and have current vaccinations. Choke collars are prohibited in the Off Leash Dog Facilities. • Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and upon leaving area. Owners must remain with their dogs at all times and must carry a leash for each dog at all times. • Owners must clean up after their dogs. • No dog treats, food or toys are allowed in Off-Leash dog area. • Dogs in heat will not be permitted inside the facility. • Dogs non-neutered male dogs will not be permitted inside the facility. • No chairs are permitted.

Medford Township Fenced-In Dog Run Rules All Persons and dogs using this Dog Run Assume any and all risks associated with the use of this Facility. Owners are legally responsible for their Dogs and injuries and/or damages caused by their Dogs. • Owners are legally responsible for their dog’s behavior and all dogs must be under the owners control at all times. • Small Dog Run section is limited to dogs weighing 25 pounds or lighter; large Dog Park section is open to dogs of all sizes. • Limit of two dogs per person. When others are waiting, please limit your use to 30 minutes. Maximum amount of dogs allowed at one time in each run is six (6). • Medford Township shall not provide any supervision during Dog Park operating hours. Users shall be responsible for the supervision and control of their dogs at all times. • Gates must remain closed at all times. Unleash your dog after entering the safety gate and leash your dog before exiting the safety gate. Owners must have the leash in hand at all times. • Dogs may go unleashed while in the entire Dog Park area. However, all persons accompanying a dog must use a leash when taking the dog to and from the Dog Park. • Under no circumstances shall any dog go unattended. • All dogs must be accompanied at all times by at least one (1) adult who is 18 years of age or older. Chasing and running with the dogs is prohibited. • Minors up to age 15 shall at all times be accompanied by at least one (1) responsible adult 18 years of age or older.NO children under the age of eight (8) are permitted in the Dog Run. • The Agility Equipment is for Dogs only. • All owners must clean up after their dogs completely and dispose of waste in proper containers. This is a Dog Run---not a Dog Restroom. • Any dog over the age of four (4) months must be healthy, vaccinated, legally licensed and wearing a collar or harness with ID and current dog license and rabies tags prior to use of the dog run area. Dogs under the age of four months are prohibited from the dog run. • All male dogs brought to the Dog Run shall be neutered and all female dogs shall be spayed. Female dogs in heat are not permitted in the dog run areas. • No dog toys or rawhide permitted in the park. • Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. • Petting other dogs is prohibited without dog owner’s permission. • Dogs displaying aggressive behavior towards other dogs and/or people shall be immediately removed from the Dog Run by the owner. \"Mounting\" may also be cause for removal of the dog from the dog run areas. • Continued display of aggressiveness by any dog may result in prohibiting the owner or another responsible adult from bringing the dog to the Dog Park &/or Dog Run. • Any dog that bites any person or another dog shall not be allowed thenceforth to use the Dog Park and Dog Run. • All dog bites shall immediately be reported to Medford Township. • The Dog Run shall operate between the hours of sunrise and sunset of each day of the year, but may be closed and/or hours adjusted as conditions require. • No food or food products are allowed, whether intended for human or dog consumption. • No smoking permitted. • All rules governing Medford Township Parks and Recreation areas and relevant parking regulations apply. Violation of the Township Ordinances may result in fines and no further use of the dog park.

Margate City Dog Park

DOG PARK RULES The Park shall be open to residents of the City of Margate • Park Hours 8:00 am to Dusk. • All dogs must be registered with the City of Margate prior to use. This requires proof of rabies and all other vaccinations listed on the Dog Park Application. • The owner of any dog using the Park will assume all liability for damages suffered by any person or animal. • All dogs, with a maximum of two (2) dogs per person, shall be under the supervision of individuals 18 years or older. • No children under age 12 will be permitted inside the Park and only then with an adult 18 or older. • Professional dog walkers and/or dog trainers are not permitted to use the Dog Park for business purposes. • Aggressive dogs are prohibited from utilizing the Park. Reported cases will result in loss of Park privileges. • Dogs under six (6) months of age are prohibited. • Sick dogs or dogs in heat are prohibited. • No prong (pinch), metal choke, or spiked collars are permitted in the Park. • Remove leashes only in the designated “unleash area”. • Dogs must be accompanied and monitored at all times. A leash must be available and ready for use if needed. • Excessive barking, howling, or other excessively loud noises disturbing the peace is not permitted. • No smoking, alcohol, food, or glass containers are permitted in the Park • Dogs are not to dig holes or engage in other activities that may create a safety hazard. • Persons responsible for the dog(s) must clean up after the dog(s). Scoop bags are available at the Dog Park along with a disposal container. • Supervise your dog at all times and act in a responsible manner. • A violation of any of these Rules and regulations, either by an owner, dog handler or dog, may subject the owner or handler to loss of privileges to use the Dog Park, revocation of Dog Park permit, and payment of a monetary fine.
