55I couldn’t recommend this spot more! Our Brittany’s loved smelling the smells, going through the tunnels, and seeing the birds fly over. We actually plan on making this our biweekly spot because it was just such a wonderful time for the boys! Overall, beautiful view, clean environment, fun for fetch or sniff adventures!
55Perfect spot!
55My dog loved this place. I tried at home to get him to go up steps and could not. However, he ran right up the steps on the play set here. This place was very well maintained. Fresh water and balls for dogs to play with. Grass was cut low. So much for dogs to do. Love this place. Will be back!!! Thank you for this amazing place.
55My dogs loved it there
55Drove almost two hours to check this place out, and it was definitely worth it. My boys are currently asleep in the back seat. Plenty of toys, agility equipment, spots to sniff, and they even have a kiddie pool and ball pit. the fencing was secure.
55Excellent place for my hound girls! The Sniffspots we visot are in the city 20-30mins from home. A beautiful summer day called for a scenic drive down. Worth the 1hr and 30min drive. We will recommend it.
55My Whippets had THE BEST time! There was enough space to run and so many things to keep their curious busy minds occupied! Highly recommend this place! Owners are very sweet and caring. We will be coming back again!
55Another great day! My dogs love chasing each other through the tall grass and can’t get enough of the pools!
55As always such a wonderful time!!!
55Our dogs had the best time! The owners thought of everything to make it fun. We brought our own toys but they have a cabinet with a nice selection of toys for the dogs. They have a water jug and bowls. It was just an awesome experience and we will definitely be making the hour drive to visit again!

Description

Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!

I have been involved in the pet industry for more than 45 years. I owned a pet care business in NH, providing pet and farm sitting, boarding, grooming, and additional services. I have managed a number of horse facilities, have worked as a vet tech, as a trainer for Invisible Fence, raised and showed AKC bullmastiffs for 20 years, and have authored numerous articles for pet and equine publications, including the award-winning book Without Regret: A Handbook for Owners of Canine Amputees. For the last 16 years I have worked part-time for Cornell Cooperative Extension; I also provide pro bono bookkeeping services for the American Guinea Hog Association, Forever Morgans Rescue, and The Magic Bullet Fund. My husband and I own the 30 acre farm where the dog park is located and we have raised heritage livestock for nearly 2 decades. We also love and rescue pit bulls in need.
