55love this park! so much space to walk and run
55This was a lovely spot for dog and human and worth the drive from Portland! Our rescue pup enjoyed sniffing, digging, zooming and barking. She practiced recall and even learned some agility skills!
55My dog loved running through the woods! I was really impressed with this SniffSpot and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much!
55This location was fairly easy to get to. It was a beautiful property with easy access to water, toys, poop bags and disposal. There were dogs on one side of the fence. This didn't bother me, it allowed an opportunity for training with my reactive dog and some nose to nose time with my unreactive dog. This was a relaxing fun time for me and my babies.
55This was such a good spot that my dog didn't want to leave! It's large with a mix of terrain. There's a picnic table with cover and plenty of toys and water, plus some agility tools. Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back!
55Acres of fun! My doggie had a great time exploring and running.
55Such a nice spot! Loved the trees, field and views. Really nice fencing too!
55Lovely property. Able to see the whole field. Loved the trees and shade. Agility equipment was cool.
55This having been our first sniff spot I was very pleased, and so was Diesel. It was hot out but there was a lot of shade. It was great! Water dish was clean and so was spot. We will return.
55Nice spot with lots of space to sniff and play ball with your pup! The owner was also kind enough to reach out to let us know we were the last guest and could stay longer if we liked to. 😊

I live in the country on four acres, but we do have neighbors . You will hear their dogs bark if they are out. Sometimes, the property owner adjacent to us lets their dogs wander down the back part of their field. I can not control this when it happens. I have three dogs. If they are out, they may go down to the fence line that separates our backyard and the sniffspot dog park. The fencing is secure, and the dogs won't be able to get to each other, but they may bark for a minute, then get bored and move along.

Description

Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, they may see or hear my pups if they are outside. My pups may also bark for a minute as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. They are very friendly. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Those same neighbors also have some piglets that are sometimes allowed to roam on the back end of their property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around. We hope to see you soon!

Cleanliness

100% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

While our space is relatively level, It is not completely flat. We have a large green flat space and a large wooded area. You will find normal debris on the ground in our forest.

Hi! My name is Theresa, and I love dogs! I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase this property 13 years ago . We raised our kids here, and now they are off living their own lives. Our dogs are the only kids in the house now unless we are being visited by one or more of our 12 grandkids.:) When I heard about sniffspot, I jumped at the opportunity to share my space with other humans who love their dogs as much as much as we love ours. I currently have three dogs, two Border Collies Sterling and Piper and a Husky Mix we call Wriggley. They are a handful, and I love every minute of it. My male Border Collie Sterling runs in agility competitions. We stay busy and active traveling locally to compete. It's such a fun thing to do, and the bond we share is truly unbelievable.

Montana's 5 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Camas: Closing October 21st for winter.

Closing October 21st for winter. Kiddy pool has a hole in it, so will be unusable until further notice! Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, and if I have to round everything up after you visit, you will be blocked. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, it happens lol, but not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!
