Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, they may see or hear my pups if they are outside. My pups may also bark for a minute as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. They are very friendly. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Those same neighbors also have some piglets that are sometimes allowed to roam on the back end of their property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around. We hope to see you soon!

We have multiple fenced yards to choose from and large Open areas to run there is a small creek on the property for a place to play as well as a large wooded area to roam. We also have clean restrooms located outside of house in shop that are open for use.. Our field includes a poop trash can, water for your dog, a poop scooper and a spot to hang your leash! We have 1 acre private fenced land that is great to let your dogs run free. Our dog boarding barn you can stand under for shelter. Follow driveway to the left, to far back gate. You are more than welcome to park in the field as well! We also have a self dog wash in our garage that is used during the week as a professional grooming salon. $10 extra each pet, for self wash, shampoo and dryer included. your dogs will be muddy during the rainy season! Closing October 21st for winter. Kiddy pool has a hole in it, so will be unusable until further notice! Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering property. Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, and if I have to round everything up after you visit, you will be blocked. Losing a ball or three is no big deal, it happens lol, but not picking up after yourself is rude. Please leave the place as you found it. Don’t knock on my doors, and do not ask me for my phone number. We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields. FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, or for those who want to hide biodegradable items in the rock piles to be found. Orange flags indicate boundaries with a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property, which I will notify you if this is to happen during your visit. Our three dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2. FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device to recall because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property, along with their dog, Cooper. It is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy, easy gate access, and accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood, and a couple of log benches around the property. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl. I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Water access is in field 1 by the house, please turn off with hose in “on” position to prevent built-up water pressure in the hose. Field 3: this is an excellent field for dogs with recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the entire property is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange flags. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives, and boundaries between properties. Cautions: Coyotes frequent this lower field on a weekly basis, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance. Also, coyotes tend to be more active during these foggy periods. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half theirs. The neighboring owners have bee hives! Please be mindful of bees, and maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be mindful of wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Please contact me with any questions!

Our yard is mostly grass with some trees for shade, chairs and a hammock for humans, and plenty of privacy for all. Fences are solid wood, 6 feet tall all around. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy, but he may sneak a peak to say hi through the window. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - pooper scooper and dog bags on the patio, toys throughout the yard, towels, hose and water station for pups, garbage bin on your way out at the side of the house.

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

There is a fenced area for those that are still learning and a wide open play area for those that are okay off leash and want to get the lead out. As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
