Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond—perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. PLEASE READ: Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. In most cases It is possible for me to bring my dogs in to avoid distractions in your play time. We hope to see you soon! Theresa

We have a perfect little slice of freedom for your pupper! Our property is fully-fenced, so let your dog go ham! As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. If you or your dog wants to say hello or has any questions about the animals/property, we are here, just give a wave or a holler. Please make sure all dogs and people visiting are respectful of the farm animals. We have goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys fenced in along the dog area. We have a roaming farm cat. We have bee hives on property but away from the dog area. We do have a Rough Collie puppy on site. He is indoors but is 99% interested in running around if your dog would like a companion.

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

Hello! We can now offer private parking in our driveway! Our property is located on a steep, one lane, dead-end winding road. You will end up in our driveway. Please park in front of the Sniffspot sign located on the left garage door. The arrow will lead you down some stone steps to a metal gate. Please use caution when walking down the steps, they can be muddy and slippery from the fallen wet leaves. Our spot is mostly naturalized, hilly, muddy, and pretty rugged so please wear appropriate shoes and watch your step. We hope to have you as a guest soon! 😊

1/4 Acre Fully Fenced Yard in SE Portland

Our yard is mostly grass with some trees for shade, chairs and a hammock for humans, and plenty of privacy for all. Fences are solid wood, 6 feet tall all around. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy, but he may sneak a peak to say hi through the window. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - pooper scooper and dog bags on the patio, toys throughout the yard, towels, hose and water station for pups, garbage bin on your way out at the side of the house.

Fun Fetch Spot with Covered Patio

Private, Fully Fenced Yard in quiet cul-de-sac community. Great space for medium & small dogs, but big dogs have fun here too! The yard is a mix of grass, gravel, cedar chips and a covered patio. Doggie bags, garbage can & garden hose provided. We also have a few tennis balls to share. The fence has no gaps or holes. My little guy only needs 4" to go exploring, so it's kept very tight. And 6ft tall on all sides, for the bigger guys. I bought this yard [& house] for my chiweenie Zoey during the pandemic and have since added Chipin Max to the pack. They love their little kingdom and I love relaxing on the patio watching them. We think you and your dog(s) will too. For your privacy, we'll be away for your visit. There are neighbors, but this is a pretty quiet community. There are neighborhood dogs, but not any adjacent or that bother us. Penty of parking in the driveway or in front of the house on the street.

Feel free to book your visits! *During the evening of 9/27 someone drove their vehicle over the curb and through/along our fence line. They damaged 115 ft of our fence pretty badly, and then fled the scene unfortunately. 😭 We are looking for the person who did this. Their car has to be damaged pretty badly along the front, front side, and one side of their car, and their side mirror came off and would be missing from their car. We found a piece of their car that also came off and were able to identify the car as an older Ford model, 1990-2005. If you have any information, please reach out. ** Foster dogs for Multnomah County Shelter and Oregon Humane Society are FREE to visit! Contact me privately to obtain your booking code. ** Our SS is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots and trees as well. There are various plants and some amazing (HELP YOURSELF) blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog to our SS. (We regularly rescue abandoned puppies which are available for adoption.) Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes, as we seem to find them after guests have been busy on their cellphones. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. FEEL FREE to: -use any toys you find in the SS! -fill/empty kiddie pool to your liking -throw away damaged balls -contact us with suggestions or feedback Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected 1- PLEASE USE SPIGOT TO RIGHT OF GATE NEXT TO HOSE BOX. IF not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle or a line may not be open. It should always be open in summer months. Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog on arrival, for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. We appreciate your business and love your dogs, just encourage them to avoid the home, porch areas and flower/fruit gardens please. Leave any hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed.
