55What a wonderful spot! It was easy to find, the host is friendly and helpful. There's a mix of shaded pasture to run, gravel roads to explore, lots of things to sniff. There are horses, cats and cows on the property, we also spotted deer and turkeys. I would call it partially fenced, my two were just fine but if you have a determined escape artist you might have more trouble. Clean dog water is available, there's plenty of parking and a porta-potty available. It's a brand new spot, so there's not much there right now, but the host is working to add things. As is typical for this area at this time of year there are foxtails and star thistle around, but not so much we had trouble with them. All in all, we all had a great time and can't wait to go back!

55This is doggy heaven! My border collie explored his heart out with plenty of space to run, while my two corgis got to enjoy all the sights and smells. A very welcoming atmosphere and we appreciated the run down of the property.
We got a lovely walk watching livestock, and plenty of turkey. If you have a mindful dog the fencing is fine, it’s more of a visible barrier which for my collie is enough. My more curious corgis remained leashed and they were perfectly happy sniffing and watching the cows.
On top of that there’s an outhouse, doggie water and even a stream which my Remy took advantage of. Thank you for sharing your property with us, I have three very tired and fulfilled pups :) Remy insists we return very soon!Ally F.

55Had a great time bringing our two dogs to this spot. We enjoyed walking them down the gravel driveway - ended up walking 1.7 miles up and down the driveway, great practice for walking on leash without other dogs around. There was a semi fenced area for them to run around although lots of horse poop (that my dog kept trying to eat 🤦🏻♀️😂). Our golden came home with lots of burs in his fur so we did have to spend some time picking them all out. As the listing states, there are lots of animals around. The owners let us know there is a dog on the property but it’s contained near an RV and we didn’t hear or see it. Sarah W.

55Still such a great spot! It's starting to green up with the recent rain, and there's enough space to wear both of our dogs out, but good. Liz S.

FAQ about our Eagle Point dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Eagle Point area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 23 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
