****Note the price is charged in USD. This fully fenced area contains a creek and hills for you to explore. We ask that bookings are kept private with additional dogs being private play dates. *****The map doesn’t show our exact location, we are just east of Black Diamond. See access instructions that are emailed to you once booked for exact location.****** It’s really important to us to keep the area clean and well looked after. So please don’t pick any flowers or trees, leave everything the way you found it and enjoy some time with nature and your dog! If you have any waste please take it with you. Note the price is charged in USD. ( $10 CAD or $8 USD) It is a US app and we are unable to change the currency at this time. Recommendations: -we recommend hiking shoes or decent footwear -tall socks or long pants are good to have in some areas -there is no path that can accommodate a stroller so we would recommend a hiking backpack for very small children *The hose to the park to spray off the dogs is on for the summer, it’s at the top of the hill south of the benches hanging on the fence. * * We are surrounded by farmland, so there could be cows, horses, chickens near the park depending on the time of year*

A wonderful time was had by our 4-legged and little 2-legged family members. The dogs had a blast running around and jumping into the creek. Water bowls and a garbage can are located conveniently right by the gate entrace. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend a visit to Little Creek.

Always a great place to take our dog! He loves to run and sniff everything. No complaints here! Love the private dog park, much easier for our dog to go and not have to worry about other dogs!

It was out first time visiting the Little Creek and our two dogs had an awesome time!! Lots of space to run and explore! The place was very quite and beautiful!! One of my dogs didn't want to leave the place even after 2 hours of running and playing so I had to grab her to the car at the end 🤣. Definitely recommend!!!

Great little spot. Gorgeous views, a little creek runs through the property, nice amenities (seating up on the hill, a small dog obstacle course). The dogs had a blast.

Can’t say enough good things about this spot! It has all kinds of terrain and is clean and quiet, the view from the seating area is very pretty. We only wish we had booked a longer time slot because us and our pup just wanted to stay!

Scenic 30 min drive from SW Calgary. A stick library at the entrance, securely fenced area, and plenty of room for dogs to explore. Natural grassland area with tall grasses, shrubberies, and a small brook. Informal trails in a small loop, a quick walk that can be a bit muddy. An agility course and two chairs are set up at a lovely viewpoint -- we bundled up, brought a thermos of coffee and watched the dogs explore and chase their ball up and down the hill. A few burrs in the fur afterward but easy to manage with a brush, and well worth it. Dogs were happy.

FAQ about our Calgary dog fields

Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Calgary?
There are 6 dog fields in the Calgary area. The most popular dog field is Little Creek Private Park. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
