There are two small steps up the gravel walkway from the parking spot to the gate. Please be aware that this is a natural area and not manicured. We have mowed the perimeter of the property and a little path inside the area, but other than that, the vegetation is natural.

Hello! Welcome to our Sniffspot. We have a beautiful 40 acre ranch just 10 minutes south of Castle Rock. We have 2 dogs that love to run our property, and we wanted to share this experience with other dogs. Our family has fenced in an acre of our ranch on the north side of our property just off an access road that leads to a couple other ranches. Our Sniffspot is a good distance away from any house, and is surrounded on 2 sides by our private forest. This is the perfect spot to come and relax while your dogs explore the site. Once inside the Sniffspot you may hear our neighboring dogs or farm animals, but rarely will one be visible. We added a privacy fence between us and the closest ranch to help block any views of neighboring animals once you are inside the gate.

Beautiful area fully enclosed with 6' fence at the lowest. Separate entrance to this field from the street. Street parking on dead end road. Approx 400' x 200' field for running or throwing balls or frisbies. Picnic table shaded from afternoon sun. No lighting after dark Weekends tend to get fully booked. If you don't see any open slots Change your criteria to 30 minutes as there might be a 30 minute slot still available. If still no slots contact us as we might have an hour opening between guests. Sniffspot requires 30 minute padding so those gaps won't show up but we might be able to squeeze you in. There is a water hydrant near the chicken coop. Lift up on handle and wait three to four seconds for the water to begin flowing. Turn on splitter valve if no water comes out. There's a large green trash can next to the shed for poo and some bags available if you didn't bring your own. In Summer early mornings are usually cool. After noon the picnic table will be in the shade and an hour or two before sunset a good portion of the field is in the shade. But midday can be hot with no shade. I recommend checking the weather forecast before visiting or only booking 30 minutes when hot

Double lot, lots of grass, great training/play area. Leaf piles in fall, 🍂, snow in winter ❄️. I clean/disinfect bowls/provide fresh water. fire pit/sitting area/blankets/drinks for humans. Motorized pergola opens/shuts for weather. Borrow a blanket on the couch if needed during your visit. My resident dog: med tricolor mix, friendly, quiet/sticks close to me or sleeps in the house. You won't hear or see her. Very secure yard. I close curtains/lock all doors/dog door. *Neighbors are very quiet. On occasion they do host people to watch football/hockey outdoors in their yard, but not all the time. Feel free to message me to confirm. 🪧 🅿️ Read street sweeping signs.
