55Very secure and my pup loved the pool! Can’t wait to come back!
55This spot is truly perfect! We came on a beautiful sunny day and took advantage of the pool followed by lots of running around on the many agility courses this place has. 10/10 recommend!
55Just another day full of fun splashes! My dogs love swimming and running through the obstacles :)
55The pool and the sloped stairs into the pool are great! My pup had the best time swimming
55My dog is obsessed with water so this pool was perfect! She had a great time jumping in after her toy again and again. The stairs entering the pool take some getting used to but she got the hang of it. She was able to dry off by playing fetch in the rest of the space. We’ll be back!
55Excellent spot! Unfortunately, we got caught in a thunderstorm during our visit but we still had a great time. We look forward to coming back on a day with better weather next week.
55Amazing property! Very clean, & the locked in parking lot feels very safe. The pool wasn’t too cold, or too deep, but was nice and big for multiple Pup’s and their humans. They provided towels, water bowls a hose & kiddie pool if your Pup’s are too nervous for the big pools. There was also a LARGE play ground with dog obstacle/agility equipment that my girl loved! They had dog life jackets too, but I would recommend bringing your own. We didn’t see any water toys, but we brought our own. It rained within the first 20mins of us getting there but they had a large tent and umbrellas for plenty of dry space, this is also nice if the sun is beating down hard. My family and I had a great time celebrating my girls 4th birthday and we’ll definitely be back!
55awesome big pool! the plastic stairs going in could be better, dogs can’t really get their footing with how steep it is :c awesome jumping platforms for bigger dogs!!
55The pups had such a great time! I do wish the Pool had a ramp instead of the narrow plastic stairs, which would have helped the dogs get in easier on their own. So if your dog isn’t confident swimming this may not be the best place to work on that, but the spot itself is amazing! Life jackets and leashes are available near the pool. There’s a variety of surfaces, heights, and textures in the play yard so It’s a great way for dogs to build environmental confidence. It IS a dog daycare so some urine smell and a bit of poop is to be expected.
55Clean, safe, and fun as always! My dogs have so much fun every time we go to Planet Paws :)

Description

Planet Paws playground is part of our canine enrichment center. It’s a unique venue designed specifically to provide your dog with opportunities to work their brains, gain confidence, experience different surfaces and enjoy a nice swim in our swimming pool. ***** NOTE : Effective July 8th our spot will have a new rate, the demand has been so high that we had to hire someone to make sure the spot is up to our standards each time before a visitor comes in. We also had to upgrade the filter in order to be able to maintain a crystal clear water with the less amount of chemicals as possible. Should you have a reservation on the calendar after July 8th and Sniffspot honors your current rate we will honor that as well. Otherwise, be aware that new rate will apply effective July 8th. ******************

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Sniffspot just informed hosts that they will be discontinuing the ability to sign up for spot specific NEW memberships in the next two weeks. They will continue to honor existing Memberships. So we just wanted to give any Non Members a heads up in case anyone is on the fence about joining. As hosts we prefer the trust & sense of community that comes with memberships because it allows us to leave our spot open more hours for people who are familiar with our space. We are not sharing our yard for high volume, because it’s our personal yard also. We appreciate being able to have our weekends reserved predominantly for our familiar Members so we can stay open while we ourselves are out & about enjoying our weekend time! Just wanted to share this info. **We have added OPEN reservations on weekdays for people that would like to visit the yard prior to deciding if they would like to become full access Members. Peak weekend hours are only available to our Spot Specific Members.** We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening and weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) WATER: We provide fresh water every 24hrs located in watering cans on the bench. PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, so we did WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:30p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.
