Hello! Welcome to The Dog Spot! We are located in the country in Corcoran, just south of Hanover, west of Rogers. We have about .5 acres fenced in that we refer to as our dog park. Fencing is chicken wire / hog paneling with a utility gate entry. We just added a doggy treat mailbox! This 140-acre retriever training facility is made available to you when we are not training :) It features rolling hills, and several ponds. The main walking area is 80 mowed acres surrounded by ponds. While not fenced in, the neighboring fields are farmland - no houses, dogs, or people in sight. If your dog needs some serious exercise and room to run, this is it!

Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.

* After november 3rd, it is deer hunting season around here. I will stay open, but please have your fur babies wear blaze orange as a precaution* 20 acres split up into flat/mowed area, and a trail that's is cut through the woods around the property. There is plenty of safe space to run and explore. We are surrounded by farm land and a quiet dirt road.

Each family member must have their own pass; pass fees are per household. If you have an annual pass but forget it, purchase a day pass to avoid a citation/fine. Lost annual pass cards can be replaced for a nominal fee at a staffed facility or by calling 763-559-6700. Annual passes are valid for 12 months from purchase. Dogs MUST be under handler’s control. Maximum two dogs per handler. Clean up after your dog. Aggressive behavior is not acceptable. Proof of rabies vaccination must be in possession. If your dog is symptomatic/showing signs of a contagious illness, do not bring them to an off-leash area. Dogs outside of off-leash area must be leashed. Children ages 15 and younger must be supervised by an adult.
