55Roy has a super sniff spot, we enjoyed the full hour and could of done much longer with the amount of trails on this site. Roy is a great host and very helpful with directions to the trails, most of which are flagged with yellow tape. We will certainly be returning for more trail hikes with my pups.
55We had a wonderful visit. Bruce was very friendly, welcoming, and informative of the grounds. Long trails to run off leash and explore was perfect for us and our girl who is reactive with other dogs on leash, we will definitely return.
55Host was very friendly and accommodating! We had a great time exploring the property :) We didn’t have any issues, but I don’t think the fence around the property would contain a dog that likes to wander. We will be going back in the future for sure!
55This spot is HUGE. Unfortunately as the front entrance from the road is open I wasn’t able to let my dog off leash, although there seems to be a decent fence around the perimeter (my dog will always look for an exit first and ask questions later). My friends dog was able to be off leash though as she’s not a runner, so that was nice. It was too hot for us to venture very far into the woods, but the trail seemed to be well marked with yellow tape, so we didn’t get lost, and the treelines are thick. Overall I would recommend the space, (with a long line if your dog can’t be trusted in an unfenced area) as I couldn’t consider it ‘fully fenced’. But for a peaceful walk where you won’t be accosted by random people or dogs it is a great location. Roy was very responsive, which was handy as we weren’t sure what time we would arrive.
55Beautiful property and friendly host! We appreciated the quick explanation of all the available lands for us to explore (fields, forest trails, and 2 ponds). The dogs had a great time!
55This sniff spot is worth every minute of the drive out! 200 amazing acres with fields, forest, well marked trails and 2 incredible ponds for your dogs. The owner was so accommodating and even walked us to the ponds. If you have a reactive dog, this is the spot to bring them. I felt so comfortable allowing my dog to just be a dog without the worry of any other dog coming around the corner. Just beautiful, a thousand stars!
55Great area to take the dogs for some good old fun. I loved the hiking trails which are numerous! I did not make use of them today but there are 2 ponds and an open field. Roy was a lovely host. Will definitely be back!

Daily 6 A.M. until 8 P.M. we offer a partially fenced, groomed 1 acre + 2 field play areas, where your dogs can run free. And we offer 4 trails currently. We have chairs in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. There is a pond in the first field but I don't recommend it for swimming except in May, but feel free! Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. Part way back there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring and this summer due to all the rain we have had. This is marked with orange pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Just past the culvert, we currently offer a trail around our wheat field going East that is plowed currently. It's along woods and takes about 15 minutes ending on the main trail. Just past here, we have a very nice trail around a soybean field, going East initially. This trail is very pretty and easy to follow. It's about half a mile and takes 10 or 15 minutes to walk. There are a couple of wet/muddy spots so be mindful. This trail ends in another small play area and you can continue through a short shady walk, ending back at the main trail at the bottom of the hill. Alternately, you can access the shady walk at the bottom of the big hill once you get there along the main trail. This walk is very pretty, maybe 10 minutes in and back to the main trail. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field trail, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. Cooler times are before 11 a.m. We plan to add a trail through the woods in the late fall once the insects and ticks die off. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags. ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $6/hour and guests will be charged in USD*** On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. They are dog and family friendly; an all around great place to visit!
