The "dog park" was perfectly safe for our two reactive Cockapoos, as well as very well cared for and intentional. 55Great spot. No distractions. Puppies had a really great run in the open yard. Large bowl of fresh water ready and waiting. Host was very welcoming and gave clear directions where to park and enter the yard. We’ll be back!Vicky N.

55Excellent location for my first ever visit to a Sniffspot. My trainer recommended these spots for reactive dogs like my Frenchton Eddie who is constantly on high alert. For once he was able to relax and just play in a big open space with his little Boston Terrier sister April. Site was open but had shade too so wasn’t too hot. Both my dogs were running full tilt and rolling in the grass with joy! Thanks to the hosts for fitting us in on short notice!

This place is lovely! Very clean, lots of room to run around, and it even came with a cute welcome basket filled with treats and toys! The host was very accommodating and helpful too. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
