Rent safe and private dog water parks and swimming pools hosted by locals in Descanso, California

The property was amazing! My girl was able to go swimming for the first time in a while and run around and just enjoy the surroundings! :) We will definitely be back!!

They loved exploring and had a great time. I recommend two hours booking. Having a restroom was also a major plus

Really great time! My 14 year old got to go for a swim for the first time in years and all 3 of my pups loved exploring the space! My youngest dog who has some significant reactivity did great! I kept him on a 30 ft leash and knew that I would have to stay engaged with him during our visit, but with those expectations he had a wonderful time, and so did i!

Molly and I thoroughly enjoyed Taylor Pond at sunset, lots of ducks to chase today. We also enjoyed watching Keithan and his Dad catch some fish! An electric gate opener has been installed and will be very helpful; thanks Dan!

Had another fun visit to Taylor Pond! We ran into 3 different groups of people during the 1.5 hour visit, some with small children, so had to share the pond area and moved around the pond as the other groups moved so as to respect their space. The space is large enough that it didnt affect our visit very much and my dog had a great time zooming and sniffing and splashing in the pond. It is very important that your dog is friendly to strangers or have a good recall just in case there are other guests at the pond too.

We visit Taylor’s pond several times a week and always have the greatest time with our pup. This is a fantastic location and we are so grateful for Dave’s hospitality.

Who knew you good find fresh water in San Diego, great space for the pups to run around and explore. Very relaxing for the humans as well with lots of seating and swings. Will definitely be back!

Perfect end to the day. Even better than I expected. And was so grateful that there is a bathroom available. So kind. Look forward to returning.

This was such an amazing place to just let the dogs be dogs! They got to follow their noses and splash in the pond and be absolutely filthy—all pure joy!

We loved waking around the pond and letting the dogs swim! The path is dirt so we all got a bit dirty but it was well worth it. My dog and I will be back!

This is a slice of heaven for everyone. From the ducks to the trail to the docks to the hammocks to the mud to the hose! 100 stars! I’ll be a regular now and would even pitch a tent and live there if I could. Our two dogs have never, ever had so much fun. Pure joy.

Fun time with our boy, great place with tons of sights and smells, nice area to hose off with towels at entrance/exit. He was exhausted after our visit!

So much space for the dogs to run free! Beautiful location and completely fenced. Clean water bowls for use and extra doggy bags. There is a bathroom on site too. The dogs loved watching the ducks in the pond and chased dragonflies.

Absolutely perfect! Totally gorgeous! We had the best time here. We drove from Carlsbad and was worried it would be too hot for our dogs, and us, but the grounds were cool and one dog cooled down in the water and the other one we soaked with the hose. So grateful for the hose right by the parking spot and nice towels waiting for us. That was such a nice touch. This was the main event for our Sunday! We're already planning to have our dogs birthday there next year!

Nice walk around the pond, lots to see and sniff. Even took a quick paddle in the canoe. Great place.

Wow, this place is such a treat for dogs in San Diego - where else would they have access to a private pond?? My dogs loved roaming the property and checking out all the sights and smells. I've never seen them so thrilled with a Sniff Spot before :) The owners were present, and we enjoyed a nice chat and one of my dogs loved getting some extra pets from them. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great time at this sniff spot with our two dogs! The space is entirely securely fenced and the pond is great. Three notes that I wasn’t aware of that could affect others’ visits so I figured I’d share: 1. There are ducks. They mostly stay in the pond but sometimes walk around it. They seem very savvy about avoiding dogs but determined dogs with high prey drives might have a tough time with this. 2. There is utility equipment around and an open garage that overly curious dogs could make a mess off. But the owners are very laid back about dogs sniffing everything! 3. There were 3 people on the property while we were there - 2 fishing and one working on a vehicle. All friendly and easy going, of course! But dogs with stranger danger might need their humans to send a note to the host ahead of time to ask for more space. This was a great spot for our friendly, easy dogs. We will be back!

Huge space with calm and soothing atmosphere! Great to relax and hang out with your dog, bonus points if your dog loves water. Owners of the property are nice and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend!
