Our property is a dog’s paradise! We have an open backyard, wooded trails, and an orchard out back with tall grasses. We keep the trails and orchard mowed for walking, but your dog will have ample woods, puddles, and other adventures at their disposal! Since we live in the woods, we occasionally have trees fall down on our 5 foot welded wire fence. Please be mindful if your dog is an exit seeker, although we walk the fence and mend any spots we see often. There is a large pole barn visible near the gate where you enter that is our neighbor’s yard. His yard/barn is not visible from the rest of the property once you’re down the path a little ways. For SPRING/SUMMER months, tics and mosquitos are around. We do not spray our land, so make sure you and your pup have the protection you need. In summer mosquitos are often worse near dawn and at dusk, especially in thicker parts of the woods, and less so in the backyard and orchard areas. In the winter, we snowmobile our trails to keep them walkable! There may be slippery spots here and there, so prepare accordingly! Be sure to look ahead at the roads on MN 511 in case of winter weather.

February 24, 2025: Due to rapid snow melt, the yard will need to be closed until we get colder temperatures. A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. For the dogs who are fearful or reactive of humans: Our neighbors are occasionally outside but keep to themselves when guests are here. Our neighbors on the north side of us have two grade school aged kids who used to come up to the fence to talk and try to pet dog visitors without asking first. They haven’t done this in the last few months, but it is a possibility. We will stay inside the house while you are here or will use the front door if we need to come/go. Foster dogs: Reach out if you have a foster dog and the cost is a barrier for you. Please send a message if you have questions or if I can do anything to make your visit more enjoyable.

We appreciated this lovely yard so much! While Bobby walks daily and we do have a small fenced in yard, he seldom gets to truly and freely run! We did a lot of recall practice which was wonderful! Great spot with lots of shade and a place to sit. While Bobby was pretty hesitant, the agility equipmentment is a wonderful addition! This is a great yard and a safe yard for dogs to play! This is a huge yard with sturdy fences and lots of mature trees. There's a (bike?)path just outside one of the fences but the fence along that side has screening on it. There's agility equipment and lots of toys! This was a safe place to exercise my usually nervous dog.

Wonderful spot! This sniff spot has so much space for dogs to wander around and explore but you can keep an eye on the dogs from anywhere. The agility equipment was fun to try out although my dogs struggled on how to use some of it. Plenty of space for parking.

Our pup loved the obstacle course equipment (though she's not terribly coordinated she still had fun). The site is great and shady, too. Lots to sniff and poke around in. Totally safe, too. There's a hiking trail right next to it, so some pups might want to bark at the occasional passerby, but the privacy curtain along the fence helps with that a lot!

Really lovely spot! Plenty of room to run around and have a good time. There is a picnic bench and toys provided as well as lots of agility equipment! The road noise is fairly loud but it didnt bother me too much.

We visited this Sniffspot several times and it appears to be my dogs favorite. When he is done sniffing and racing up and down the yard he loves to work the agility equipment. It so much fun to see his skills and confidence grow. Wonderfully wiped out and happy dog on the drive back home :) This is a good place to visit in warm weather. The mature trees give a good amount of shade and the natural surface is easy on the paws.

Absolutely amazing! My reactive lab and I gabe been searching for a safe place to play since moving here. Living in the city can make it tough. This area was perfect! Lots of smells and areas to explore, all within the safety of a very well buolt fence. We even got to watch some deer cross the creek! One note! Dumb on my part. Bring some bug spray!! Summer, Minnesota, evening time, and being next to a creek make it a bit of a mosquito paradise.

The best place!! Our dogs LOVE coming here. There is now agility stuff and it was so fun to watch our dogs try it out! One loved the tunnel and one loved climbing. So much fun!

Amazing! Pups loved it. So much room to run at full speed. The hills wore them out. There is also a flat area at the bottom with agility equipment. Super fun. The trees and creek behind the property provides tons of opportunities to sniff. Toys and water provided. Gate was solid and secure. We will definitely be back!
