Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.

We have a beautiful scenic backyard that we have, apple trees and blackberry bushes! Early in the morning, we see a family of deer come out, and in the evening sometimes they make an appearance! We have five acres on mostly wooded land that we’d love to share with your dog/s! Behind the house there is a large mowed lawn/hill that leads to a pond that’s perfect for chasing frogs and swimming. Behind the pond are trails and bridges through the woods. There are chairs for people at various places around the property and a hose by the driveway to wash off muddy pups. There is no bathroom for people but the town of franklinville is ten minutes away and there’s a great coffee shop there to stop of the way to or from the property.
