We had to be out of our house for a couple days for hurricane repair so we reserved a longer then usual time today so I could do baths also. Had a nice chat with Angie while I watched the dogs play. They ran and played and our two 8 year old girls acted like crazy puppies. It was a super peaceful trip, loved hearing the music from the barn. I appreciated having a bathroom and the cold water too, after 1.5 days of keeping 3 dogs out of our house it was a great way to let them enjoy some time & let me relax a little! Had a nice chat with Angie while I watched the dogs play. They ran and played and our two 8 year old girls acted like crazy puppies. It was a super peaceful trip, loved hearing the music from the barn. I appreciated having a bathroom and the cold water too, after 1.5 days of keeping 3 dogs out of our house it was a great way to let them enjoy some time & let me relax a little! I was very hesitant to even try Sniffspot because my dog typically doesn’t do well in new places, however, it was worth the risk! The property is large, well maintained, and inviting. My dog got to sniff, swim, and run around, as well as have a positive new experience. She’s now asleep, curled up on the couch. A tired dog is a happy dog!

My dog Zeus is a high energy, animal reactive pup. Although we train him, we needed a safe space where he could be free to be a dog and get some energy out. I saw Happy Dog Ranch and booked it! We went out to the property and we’re greeted warmly by the hosts. They strongly encouraged me to let me dog off leash as the property was safe. I was extremely anxious as Zeus has NEVER been off leash due to his reactivity. Needless to say watching him run and swim and hunt lizards was the BEST decision of my life! While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
