Lucy's Private Dog Park in Greer

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

Welcome to Lucy’s half acre private dog park where you, your family, friends and furry companions can run, play, explore, exercise, relax, and even have a picnic. It’s a great and safe place to be with your loved ones. The park is securely fenced and private. There are trees, a shade sail canopy and a nice area covered shelter with a roof and fan to get away from the elements. We provide chairs, hammocks, a glider, a picnic table, kids play equipment, dog toys, water, etc. The park has a slope which can provide a great way for you and your pup to exercise. A nice big area for your pooch to dig is available as well as plenty of spots for your dog to roam and explore. Some areas are uneven and hilly which adds to the fun of exploring. Come and enjoy our secluded private oasis. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

Room to Zoom…Tracey's 7.4 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Greenville

Unfenced
7.4 acres

We are currently overwhelmed with debris from the hurricane and recent storms. Most of the debris has to be temporarily staged in the area that is a portion of the SniffSpot area. If you would like to bring your pup to roam and play in the creek on a hot day, please message me first and I will check the clean-up schedule. Please understand we welcome you but the grassy field is not currently up to our standards. This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with future additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.

NOW WITH LIGHTS! Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located just blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn, including dog friendly places such as The Mill and Voodoo Brewing, and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy street parking along the fence line, near the rear of the Younts Center and Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field features some mature oak and pecan trees around the perimeter. Throughout the day, the shade moves so please feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. And with long winter nights, let your dogs get their zoomies out after dark! Please be aware that the field is not lit up with powerful, stadium type lights. It's a soft glow and not all areas of the field are illuminated - areas around the trees have motion-detection lights only and can be a bit dark. However, Zoomieland lends out glow-in-the dark collars, so that you can spot your dog wherever it goes! Just some little warnings: * There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. * Watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. * Zoomieland is near train tracks and twice a day a train passes by and is quite loud. * The adjoining parking is usually very quiet but there is a church service on Sundays at 11:20 so expect people walking nearby around 11am and noon-ish. * There is a daycare nearby and throughout weekdays, little ones play outside. * Lastly, there are times when the Younts Center has an event, where there are many people walking by. It's not often but it can happen on the weekends. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive 5 minutes early, go on in. If you're running late, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. Please feel free to upload pictures of your pups on my Sniffspot listing! :) Zoomieland is home field of Deuce, Fountain Inn Police Department K-9. We donate access to our Sniffspot so that he can enjoy Zoomieland too!

Your Complete Guide to Dog Parks in Greenville

Look, if you've dragged yourself to Conestee Dog Park on a beautiful Upstate Saturday only to fight for parking with half of Greenville County, you already know the situation. Or maybe you've tried Cleveland Park's off-leash dog area when South Carolina summer humidity makes you question why anyone lives here? Greenville dog owners get it. The city's absolutely booming, everyone and their mother has moved here with their dogs, and the public off-leash dog parks are straight-up overwhelmed.

Greenville's got spots like Conestee Dog Park near Conestee Nature Preserve, areas at Pelham Mill Park along Baldwin Lake, Cleveland Park's dog run, and various recreational complex options managed by the City of Greenville—but here's the thing. They're packed. You're competing with other dog owners for picnic tables, dealing with water stations that may or may not work, navigating codes about dog license requirements, rabies vaccination proof, collar with ID displays, and the whole scene just gets exhausting. Plus those trendy dog bars and outdoor patios downtown? They're cute but not exactly built for serious exercise on the Flat River Trail.

Why Greenville Dog Owners Are Over Public Parks

Real talk: public off-leash dog parks here aren't cutting it anymore. Your dog's still figuring out recall? You need actual secure fencing at a private dog run, not crossing your fingers they won't take off toward Woodruff Road. It's July and feels like you're breathing soup? Water stations and shade beat standing around Cleveland Park's exposed areas any day. Got a dog who doesn't vibe with the chaotic energy at overcrowded recreational complex spots? Yeah, private yards make way more sense.

Greenville Sniffspot hosts actually understand what dog owners need in the Upstate. Real properties with functioning water stations, picnic tables where you can chill without fighting for space, secure dog run areas, spots near natural areas like Conestee Nature Preserve vibes without the crowds. Nobody's checking your dog license or demanding rabies vaccination paperwork at the gate. No worries about your collar with ID meeting specific City of Greenville requirements.

What Your Greenville Dog Actually Needs

Greenville dogs deserve better than fighting crowds at standard off-leash dog area spots. Secure fencing for a proper dog run. Water stations that actually work during Upstate summer heat. Proper cleanup stations. Space to decompress that isn't jam-packed with other dog owners and their picnic tables. Maybe access to trail-like settings similar to Flat River Trail but private. Room to be a dog without the Baldwin Lake weekend circus or dodging outdoor patios full of brunchers.

Where to Find Dog Parks in Greenville

Just over 400 Sniffspots blanket Greenville and the Upstate. Downtown Greenville, West Greenville, Overbrook, Augusta Road, Verdae, Simpsonville, Mauldin, Greer, Taylors, Travelers Rest, Five Forks, Powdersville, Easley, Fountain Inn. Even Spartanburg and Anderson if you're expanding the search.

Search for secure dog run spaces, properties with water stations and picnic tables, areas with natural trails.

Pro Tips for Greenville Dog Park Visits

Book morning or evening May through September because Upstate heat is serious. Pack water (humidity's brutal), poop bags, bug spray for yourself. Skip the crowded recreational complex weekends entirely. No dealing with dog license or rabies vaccination checks—just show up. Collar with ID obviously, but no bureaucracy.

Why Sniffspot wins in Greenville: it's private, period. No battling other dog owners for off-leash dog area space at Conestee or Cleveland Park. No driving to Baldwin Lake only to find it's a zoo. No squeezing onto outdoor patios at downtown dog bars hoping your pup behaves. Just solid, reliable dog run space where your furry friend can actually enjoy the Upstate without the chaos. Check out hundreds of Greenville options above and claim your spot.

55My dog has been here twice now, and had the best day ever both times. I have never seen her so happy! We can’t go hiking because she is extremely dog-reactive, so this is a precious opportunity to let her run wild in the woods, sniff, explore, and even check out the water without fear of encountering another dog on a trail. Fair warning, there may be loose neighborhood dogs in the area. We saw a couple on the way in and it was very disconcerting given their size and proximity, but they were heading in the opposite direction and we never heard or encountered them while on the property.

55This was our first time using sniffspot and I have no complaints! The great thing about this property is that it was very interesting for the dogs. There is a big open field, trees, a barn, and a creek. My dogs were all smiles! They enjoyed rolling in the grass, chasing birds, and even got in the water. My Springer Spaniel never slowed down. Both dogs were smiling the entire time!

55The yard does need some clean up, but after I moved some branches to the side, it was better for running around. My dog took like 45 minutes to sniff EVERYTHING before she felt comfortable enough to run around full tilt 😹 The dogs nextdoor were visible in their fenced in run, and did bark a lot. This was difficult for my extreeeemely dog reactive girl, but they were far away enough (and her threshold is pretty far out there) that she could be distracted from them and resume sniffing and running around. It was actually pretty good practice of getting her used to other dogs and relaxing in their presence, even if she was a little tense most of the time. The agility gear is pretty shredded and worn out and there is some stuff in the yard like a fallen hammock, so I would watch out for that stuff and bring your own dog toys, but otherwise it was a nice huge yard with a very secure fence and my dog had a great time and was soooo tuckered out afterward. We will totally be back. So grateful to the host for letting us visit!

55Great sniff spot! Lots of room, places for people to sit, and even some fun things like a basketball hoop. We had a great time! The next door neighbor does have a dog that came out during our visit but luckily our dog wasn’t tempted enough to jump the fence. It is a pretty short fence so keep that in mind if your dog is likely to jump 4 feet to get to another dog. A neighbor in the back does have some cute rabbits within view which our dog was interested in too. Keep that in mind :) Will be back!

Our only complaint was that there was some glass and aluminum cans in the water that probably washed down or were left by previous guests. This, in no way, is on Tracy! 10/10 recommend this spot, just watch where you and your pups walk if you get in the water!

55Great Visit! Lessons Learned: wear pants and good shoes, although the trails are well cut there is small bits of brush to walk through. If you want to find the dock that is pictured you apparently drive straight. The path to the right is also good. It's around 250 easy steps to the creek and further on to the river. The way back is a bit steep but doable even if you are like me and not in good shape.

55Mike and Kelly were extremely welcoming. They told us all about the property, recommendations on where to go and even offered us fresh eggs when we were leaving. The dogs had a blast running through the woods and splashing in the water. It is a lovely property and we will definitely go back.

55This was our first time using a Sniffspot and it was a nice, clean spot for my coonhound who loves roaming and sniffing. Tons of space, more than what it looks in the pictures and some mature trees for good shade. There were toys at the table and spread around, tunnels and obstacles for agility training. We saw a squirrel during our visit which was fun but no other dogs or people. Fencing was secure which was my priority for off leash sniffs. It was a quiet and peaceful visit, I plan to visit again when I’m nearby with my pup. I booked about 30 minutes before showing up and the host still had everything available we might need. Thanks for having us!

Frequently asked questions about Greenville dog park

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 5% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Greenville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 200 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 414 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
