NOW WITH LIGHTS! Zoomieland in Downtown Fountain Inn

Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out. Located just blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn, including dog friendly places such as The Mill and Voodoo Brewing, and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy parking in the rear of the Younts Center, next to Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot. The field has some mature oak and pecan trees, providing shaded spots throughout the day. Feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. And now something NEW - enjoy Zoomieland under the lights until 10PM. Let your dogs get their zoomies out after dark! Please be aware that not all areas of the field are illuminated - one corner and areas around the trees are mostly dark. Just some little warnings: There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. And watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive 5 minutes early, go on in. If you're running late, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later. Here are directions: Go past the red brick building on the left to the large gravel parking lot. Park there and the park is open to you any time. You will see a car cleaning area for our car rental business. The entrance is right there. You will see sniffspot signs with arrows. We will keep our dogs inside at all times. #3 Fun field for a furry frenzy 3- Field of Dreams in Fletcher

1/27 As the ground thaws this site will have some muddy spots. Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fenceing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

PARK RULES Dogs must meet all guidelines below and maintain current vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP & Bordetella) to utilize the off-leash areas. Violators will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of privileges. The Town of Forest City reserves the right to ban any dog/owner for failure to comply with park rules. 1. The dog park opens at sunrise and closes at sunset daily. 2. No animals except dogs may be brought into the fenced area. 3. All dogs must be leashed until safely inside the dog park and returned to a leash prior to exiting. Gates must remain closed at all times after entry and exit. 4. Choke, spike, chain or pinch collars are not allowed in the dog park. 5. Dog owners must remain in the fenced area while their dogs are using the dog park. Owners must be in view of their dogs with voice control at all times. 6. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Spectators should remain outside the fenced area. 7. Aggressive dogs, female dogs in heat and sick dogs are not allowed. Owners must immediately leash and remove dogs from the dog park at the first sign of aggressive behavior. 8. Owners must properly dispose of waste in the designated on-site containers. 9. While small bite-sized training treats are permitted, food in bowls and long-lasting chews are not allowed. 10. Owners must prevent dogs from digging holes and are responsible for filling them. 11. No smoking, vaping, alcohol and tobacco use of any kind, glass, firearms, knives or weapons of any kind are allowed inside the dog park. 12. Strollers, carriages, bicycles, motorized vehicles and children's toys are not allowed in the dog park. 13. No more than two (2) dogs per person are allowed on any single visit. 14. Puppies less than four (4) months old are not permitted. 15. Dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies, DHLPP & Bordetella. Current license and rabies tags must be worn on the dogs collar at all times. 16. No person shall lie or sleep in a prone position on seats, tables, or benches in city parks. (Town of Forest City, NC Code of Ordinances Sec. 15-7) 17. NC State Law requires all dog bites to be reported to FCPD Animal Control. In addition, owners are required to assist in the investigation of incidents of aggression or biting by providing appropriate identification and information to FCPD and to other dog owners who are involved with the incident under investigation.
