**I prefer a message PRIOR to booking, if our chickens are out for the day we do not have a way to put them up, they free range and go in when they would like.** We have 5.8 acres of unfenced land. We have chickens and goats on the property along with our own dogs so we have lots to smell! We have areas that are mowed and areas that are not. We are nestled between apartment buildings but our land keeps us separated that it’s private. We can make sure the farm animals are put up as the chickens free range if your dog has a high prey drive, but please give us a 24 hour notice if you need the chickens put away for your visit.

Welcome to Southeast Wisconsin’s Finest Pet Resort! Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

Dogs visiting the park must be at least 4 months old. 2. Dogs that are ill or in heat are not permitted. 3. Rawhide or food are not permitted, as dogfights might result. 4. Aggressive dogs are not permitted. Handlers/owners must remove their dog(s) at the first sign of aggression. 5. Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park. Once in the dog park, the leash may be removed; however, the handlers/owners must have a leash in their possession at all times. 6. Handlers/owners are responsible for controlling their dog(s) and must maintain visual and voice contact with their animals at all times. Handlers/owners may be legally responsible for any injuries or damage caused by their dog(s). 7. There shall be no more than 3 dogs per handler/owner. 8. Pinch, choke chain and spike collars must be removed from the dog(s) prior to entering the dog park. 9. Handlers/owners are subject to a $75 fine for failure to pick up and properly dispose of their dog’s waste.

All dogs must have a Kenosha County Dog Parks tag or owner can pay a daily fee. Dog Parks tags are available at several locations (listed on the Tags and Fees page). The Dog Parks tag is valid for one year. No annual dog park tag shall be granted without a Kenosha County dog license or current license from the municipality where the dog is kept. Pick up after your dog. All dog parks have disposal bags available. Dogs must be kept on leash outside of the fenced area of the park. Do not keep your dog on leash once inside the dog park. Always keep your eye on your dog and stay alert to your surroundings. Help us (and your dog) by controlling the environment at all times. Not all dogs are good candidates for off-leash dog parks, if your dog is aggressive, they will not be allowed inside. Be prepared to leash up and leave immediately if your dog shows aggression. Don't bring your dog if they’re unvaccinated. This leads to the rapid spread of diseases, some of which may be fatal. If your dog is in heat, leave her at home. A dog in heat can cause male dogs to develop aggressive tendencies. Smoking, food, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permissible. Water bowls cannot be brought inside the fenced area. This reduces the risk of diseases spread by sharing drinking water. Take out what you bring in (e.g., tennis balls, Frisbees, water dishes, dog toys, etc). Do not give treats to dogs that aren’t yours. Dogs may have allergies, be on a training plan or be on a special diet. No children under the age of 18 are permitted unless accompanied by an adult. There is the potential that your dog may be injured or may injure another dog while playing in the park. Kenosha County is not responsible for any injury or damage in the dog park. Users of this park do so at their own risk. The Arlington Heights and Mt. Prospect Park Districts are not responsible for any injury or damage caused by any dog in the off leash area. 2. All users must abide by regulations in Ordinance #260 of Arlington Heights and #525 of Mt. Prospect, which includes prohibition of alcohol. 3. Dogs must be healthy, fully immunized, de-wormed, and must display current Park District and Village ID tags on their collar if applicable. 4. A handler age 18 or older must be present at all times and is solely responsible for the action of their dog(s). 5. Cooperation between dog owners is expected including keeping order and enforcing dog park rules and Park District ordinances. 6. Dogs must be leashed prior to and leaving the park. Owners must carry a leash for each dog at all times. 7. Collars are to be worn at all times. No spiked collars. 8. Hours are from sunrise to sunset. 9. Keep your dog in sight and never leave the dogs in the park unattended. 10. No aggressive dogs allowed. 11. Maximum number of dogs per adult is two and both dogs must remain in the same run area with their owner. Large dogs (25 lbs. and above) are not allowed in the small dog area. 12. Children must be at least 6 years of age and accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years or older to enter the dog park. 13. Please ask the owner’s permission before approaching their dog. 14. Dogs in heat are not allowed in the park. 15. Puppies under 4 months of age are not permitted in the park. 16. Immediately clean up and dispose of feces left by your dog. 17. No food of any kind, including dog chews and/or rawhides, are allowed within the fenced area. 18. Keep your dog away from the gate while other dogs are entering and exiting the park. 19. The Park District(s) have the authority to close the site for maintenance, weather related problems and special events without notice. 20. The Park District(s) staff has the authority to remove a dog owner from the park at any time. 21. Handlers/owners may be legally responsible for injuries or damages caused by their dog. 22. The Arlington Heights and/or Mt. Prospect Park Districts are not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen property. 23. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. 24.
