We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

We have an acre fenced that we want dogs to come and enjoy a good run or a fun place to play ball. There is a shelter to stand under if needed with two chairs that can be moved as needed. Most of the area is flat and there are some trees is the back of the property with longer grass. You do have to walk up a little hill to get to the flat part but it is not bad. There is a parking area right outside the man-gate where you enter with a parking sign. We have put a chuck it with balls and a frisbee under the bench lid for you to use as well as weave poles and an adjustable jump for the pups to try out. Everything you need as far as water, water bowl and toys are all under the bench lid by the big tree. *Updated hours: more availability at night but know the mosquitos are bad when the sun goes down so please wear bug spray or use the bug spray provided. *With spring and summer coming more people are out so there may be noise while at the spot, we do have neighbors with kids and dogs. Google Maps will get you lost so once booked I will send directions directly via chat.

Absolutely loved this spot! We went in January and there was a little snow but our dogs loved it. If it’s icy, it would be kind of tough. The fresh snow it was totally doable. You definitely have to be ready to hike up the hill but at the top there’s lots of trails and lots of room to run and sniff! We will definitely be back!

Incredible space, especially for reactive high energy dogs. One of my pups has unending energy but struggles with other dogs and people so it's hard to really get him tired. This space did the trick! It is a bit confusing knowing if you're in the right spot or not, but once you go through the large gate partway up the hill, you're there! There's another sign inside the area that says, "Top Dog Vistas ⬆️" which makes you think you're not there yet, but you're already in the correct space.

5 stars Host (Carol) met us and is very gracious. The area is well maintained with several nooks with benches, water dishes with water, doggie doo-doo bags and metal disposal bins. The area has trees, trails, and open expanses with wonderful vistas of surrounding landscapes. You and your fur babies have the entire place to yourselves. The area is on a hill for those semi-crippled like me (one of my hip joints has no cartilage and is bone-on-bone contact) and it was a bit of a chore, but worth it. The dogs enjoyed it quite a bit I think.

Absolutely beautiful weather for the views. The new fencing allows the dogs the freedom to wander. It is also a good place to practice recall! Love all the paths and appreciate the work required to keep them open! Nice spot on top to throw a ball or a frisbee. As always benches, water, poop bags, garbage, treats, balls and a port-a-potty. It was a little challenging to get our dogs past the Dawn to Dusk area - there was a dog and owner there.

Our two dogs had an absolute blast running around free and sniffing. It’s a steep hill to get to the top (wear out those doggos). Our dogs loved running the brush trails at top and in some tall grass. That is where our golden got the zoomies! The view from the top is worth the walk up the hill. We will be back again for sure!

We were able to take our deaf dog today, and didn’t have to worry about him getting loose! He had a blast watching the goats! We had 4 dogs and they all had so much fun! The parking is easy, the little walk to the gate isn’t bad, and we couldn’t see any other dogs from our area! Loved that we had a tremendous amount of space for exploration with secure fencing! Such a beautiful view, and a few resting spots for the humans! Lots of waste cans to put dog waste, area was clean and private! Will definitely be going here again!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
