We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The Sniffspot is a 2 acre pasture with a fenced seasonal pond in the middle. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged), and separate from the house. Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile. If you're coming from Portland, the bridges and 4th Plain traffic can be challenging!

If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. This yard will continue to change and have more things added. The pool is in, and the clover lawn is coming in very nicely! We’ve got a sunsail up keeping shade over the pool during the heat of the day. We have mulch edging and plans for more greenery to be added. (A tree, some native grass clumps, and native opportunities for pollinators) There’s a covered deck with seating for two! Bring your cooler and relax while your dog runs around! Do some training in a large fenced in space! Grab some bags of ice and dump them in the pool for your husky or mountain dog! We’ve got some agility equipment upon request, and a sprinkler can be running when you get here! Safe for small dogs, reactive dogs, and escape artists. There is a ground squirell, but no ones been able to catch him yet!

The Not So Boring Bark Park

Tucked back off the road is a not so boring field and little wooded area with a creek running through. We saw the magic in it when we bought it in 2024 and decided we wanted to share it with others in 2025. We hope you love it as much as we do 🐶❤️
