Great spot! Our one dog loved sniffing around and the other was able to get some good ball time in. There was toys, water, and a chair to sit in. We would definitely come back!

The sniffspot was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. There is coop in the sniffspot and my dog is very overstimulated around chickens so we couldn't stay for more than 5 minutes. The host was very accommodating and refunded us the money. I would highly recommend this sniffspot to people who have dogs that are well socialized around chicken.

Awesome spot - easy to find! Super responsive host. Perfect slight grade for chasing balls for our Shepard and incredibly secure fencing - our 15 lb escape artist terrier spent the entire hour trying to get out and couldn’t find a spot! Highly recommend!

Great spot and beautiful location! Fully fenced, well maintained, super easy in and out and well marked. Private and quiet and peaceful. Great for multiple dogs to run and romp and chase or for just one kinda lazy golden retriever to enjoy all the new smells :) we will be back!

Our 2 greyhounds had a fun time. Zoomies for one and sniffing for the other! The spot has great fencing, flat ground for playing, toys, water, chairs -- what else could you want? We will be back. Oh, and Rebecca was great and had her dog inside for us.

Wide open area for zoomies and ball throwing. Poop bags provided on throughout the area. Signage for parking and entrance. Fence secure. I only noticed one small area with gap at bottom and that could be from bunny or other small animal (rural area). Depending on the direction one is traveling, the turn off can be sharp (missed due to my dog’s head in way and car behind really close). Would go again!

This place was great! Large, very securely fenced, mostly shaded, easy to find. Owners provided dog toys and water. There are chickens within the enclosure, very secure. Rather than running around, our dogs barked at the chickens the whole time. Chickens weren't phased, seemed to like teasing the pups! We will be back!

Highly recommend this lovely spot! Easy to find, easy access to park entrance, & fully secure fencing! My pups and I had a great time exploring all the different trails. There is a nice mix of open grass and woods. My GSD thought the sand box was SUPER cool and also appreciated the stick library! The thoughtful host has everything you need right by the entrance and fun things to find throughout the forest. We will definitely put this spot in our sniff rotation! Gorgeous!

Are small dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by park users so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars.

How can I find small dog parks in Kelowna?

How do I know if a small dog park works for my dog?

Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your furry friends. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our small dog park sites where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. If your dog loves water, you can go to a park with water features, but if they don't love water, you can avoid them. We also recommend reading reviews to check for park maintenance issues and reaching out to the host with any questions. And lastly, of course, check park hours. Many of our parks are open from dawn until dusk.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot park?

We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that owners sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. We also require that pet owners follow safety protocols around water features.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot park at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
