55We had such a wonderful time! This was our very first visit, and my biggest worry was my older dog finding some secret escape route—because that is absolutely his favorite hobby. 😂 But ha! Not a single gap, loose board, or low fence anywhere. Just like the description promised, it was Fort Knox for furry wanderers!
The main play area being in the front felt super welcoming, and the host thought of everything: fresh water, towels, toys, a cooler with drinks, plus sunscreen and bug spray. My dogs walked in like they owned the place.
Now… my sweet angels decided today was the day to become full-time poop machines 😅. I even found myself crawling under the trampoline to retrieve a little “gift,” lol. Thankfully, the pooper scooper was right there waiting for me. And shoutout to the Clorox wipes because my poop bag broke and—well, use your imagination 🤣.
But honestly? My dogs haven’t been this happy in ages. Seeing them run around with pure joy made my whole day. They’re both passed out snoring as I write this. 🐾💤

55After having a walk around the first thing the dogs did was get into the cute bone shaped pool. That was the highlight, my boy did ALOT of running around playing fetch in the open grass. Good place for my girls and i to walk around while the boy plays fetch. I was really hoping the pond area would have water but, alas we are at the end of summer i kind of expected it to be empty with the heat we've had.
Completely fenced was great for my dogs that like to explore. There were dogs and farm animals on the back end of the property but the front is really where all the fun happens. We walked along the back fence and one of my girls stuck her nose in a cactus lol and idk what I walked through but I had stickers on my legs . At first I thought they were bugs because they were green lol but learned when we tried to pull them off. But it was no biggie, the host had tweezers to help with the trickier ones. Totals to dry the dogs, ice cold drinks for humans and plenty of water for the dogs. And clorox wipes, good after picking up your pups poo and a trash bin. Not too mention, plenty of TOYS!

55This was our first time ever using Sniffspot, and this spot was perfect! My dogs were not ready for so much excitement and were tired out in the first 10 minutes! The area was fully fenced, and the owner was nice enough to leave a cooler with some bottled water and juices on the picnic table that was under the very shady tree. There was a doggy pool that my boys enjoyed briefly. While one of my boys was enjoying the space chasing the toys that were also provided, my other was enjoying the shade. I take my dogs to a large public (not dog) park in the early morning every weekend and let them run. They always end up smelling like the decaying squirrel carcasses that they roll in. Coyote, deer, raccoon and squirrel poop they find, as well.
This was a nice spot with plenty of shade. The dogs enjoyed themselves, but one by one I watched as they pooped themselves out. It was great. I have an Akita mix, a Terrier mix, and a Weirdo mix-Quan; the rust colored one. All were rescues and all love this yard. Abby, my Akita mix, makes friends with everyone and did so with three of the four neighbors dogs. She wanted so badly to befriend the Horses next door, but lo, it was not to be today. My Terrier and my weirdo mix were reactive to the horses, but were not an issue once they realized their boundaries.
This yard is immaculate as could be for southern Texas and kudos to the host. There was plenty of shade and water for my girls. They had towels, drinks and a pooper scooper. It took my girls about 10 minutes to lead me to the car to go, but that's because they are spoiled. I paid for an hour, and that's what we did...nearly. only one of my girls pooped, but there was a few bombs left for them to find lol
