Welcome to Tails n Trails Retreat Private Park & Trail! We look forward to sharing our spot with you, your family, friends, and of course your doggos! PARKING: Please park your vehicle in the Sniffspot parking lot PAST the big silver gate. DO NOT PARK in front of the house or dog daycare. LEASHES: Please leash your dogs on weekdays when the dog daycare is open Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm until you are on the trail and when returning to the parking lot if they don’t have reliable recall. DOG POOP: Please use a stick to flick your dog’s poop out of sight and off the trail. RESPECT NATURE: No smoking or littering. Please keep our Sniffspot beautiful and safe from potential fire. "Important: All Prices are in USD" NOT SMALL DOG APPROPRIATE The Sniff spot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. To access that area just drive off the paved driveway onto the dirt road and into the woods. Parking is near the sniffspot gate. There are chairs and a cooler with water for dogs and a water bowl is provided. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.

With this being said, the property has been SOLD and our Sniffspot will close on October 27th. The new owner will be opening their own Sniffspot Account for the property so the park may only be closed a few days. Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails. Please access the trails from Concession 6, not our driveway at the front on Concession 5/Durham regional road 15. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the driveway. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD It's a great spot to catch the peaceful morning sun or the summers sunsets. It is a good walk through the natural forest of pines, maples, and oaks. A nice peak with Lake Muskoka views to one direction and sunsets to the other. A creek cuts through near the back, where you will find the foot trail and a wooden crossing bridge. If you hope to spot wildlife, this is a good spot. We've seen families of deer, a lone turkey, and newly hatch Robin families. Plus, there are plenty of squirrels and chipmunks to chase.
