Please stay off of the docks until we had a chance to repair them.

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

9/28. A large tree came down but we have fixed all fencing. The site is open but the tree is still in the field. A large pasture with fencing around everywhere except the top of the creek crossing running behind it. Bring a towel and enjoy! The bugs are back so a head screen or bug spray might make you more comfortable. Chairs and tables and sometimes a hammock provided creekside! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. I hope you have a fun and restful visit!

***REOPEN SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19*****The pool won’t be back yet. We still have no running water. We will fill the bowl with bottled water. 🩷 Post Helene update****We will be back. We need the yard to dry and we need running water. Our water is filtered so the pool and water bowl are always filtered water, but at the moment we don’t have running water. The fence has been restored and is better than ever. Our dogs have been super stressed so we know our fur friends need to decompress. We get it. We are hoping to be open by mid October if we get enough sun. ***** We have over an acre, fully fenced. Pull right up to the marked gate by the out building and go right in. Tall trees provide shade and there is seating. Our dog Oliver shares his toys and we keep a doggy waste station available for easy cleanup. We live in the house on the property with our 3 dogs but want to share our spacious yard with others. Thanks for stopping by.

This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets and close the gate behind you - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - However, Please remember extra water for you and your pets. I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

WE ARE OPEN post-Helene! The creek road is closed, but you can get to my farm through Mars Hill. I've added a couple loads of dirt to the fire pit area, which your dogs are welcome to run and dig in until I get it spread out. The top pasture of this small farm is available for dogs to sniff and exercise. Sometimes there will be farm animal smells, horses and goats, and turkeys, rabbits and deer may also visit. There is a nice hill to tire everyone out, and a pretty view of my little farm. If you sit at the top and throw balls down the hill your dogs will get very tired! There is a picnic table, a swing, a table and chairs, a fire pit chairs, a splashing trough, a dog toy box, and a hose. You can pull right in through the double red gates and close them behind you, to leave my neighbors room to drive past. This will also ensure your dogs don't escape from the sniff spot when you open the car doors. There is a large horse water trough, feel free to dump it and refill it if you need to (and if you're strong enough!) There's also a large box of dog toys, if your dog tears one up you can throw the pieces in the trash, they're all disposable.

Welcome to Lucy’s half acre private dog park where you, your family, friends and furry companions can run, play, explore, exercise, relax, and even have a picnic. It’s a great and safe place to be with your loved ones. The park is securely fenced and private. There are trees, a shade sail canopy and a nice area covered shelter with a roof and fan to get away from the elements. We provide chairs, hammocks, a glider, a picnic table, kids play equipment, dog toys, water, etc. The park has a slope which can provide a great way for you and your pup to exercise. A nice big area for your pooch to dig is available as well as plenty of spots for your dog to roam and explore. Some areas are uneven and hilly which adds to the fun of exploring. We have a half acre, fully fenced, safe environment for your play time. A few toys, fresh water bowls, poo bags and a trash can are all provided. Plenty of chairs for the dog moms and dads to relax.

Fully fenced .5 acre for doggies to get their zoomies out! There is a little shade from trees from both the front yard and backyard, all fenced in, and with a doggie pool! Labrador is unfortunately closed indefinitely. Hurricane Helene took out multiple trees near the bridge, and the trail is currently impassable. A 1/4 mile peaceful walk down a private trail through the woods. Your pup will have ample opportunities to run, jump, sniff, and poop and get all that energy out. There is even a swimming hole for your pooch at the creek. There are chairs scattered along the trail, a hammock and tree lounge to relax in, and picnic tables. Take a break with your dog and spend some time in nature without having to drive far.

Our lovely picturesque “park” back yard is available to rent by the hour. We have private gate access and it is fully fenced. During your booked time our family dogs will be put inside to allow you a safe and stress free time. We do have available parking to the far left in the driveway.

Roughly 3 acres of area to explore. Creek runs from one corner of the property to the next full of spots for pups to splash and play. Large open area (.5- 1 acre) to run in the front and about 2 acre of wooded area in the back. Currently not fenced in but we are working to have fenced in areas very soon. This park is in memory of my pup Bazzle that has recently passed away. I hope other dogs can have as much fun as he did here.

This beautiful open space is beside a bubbling creek wtih both sun and shade options. Across the property you will find digging spots (please fill all hoes) mud, grassy areas and plenty of space to explore. There is a water hose to rinse your dog and limited seating at this time. Please check back often as we are in the process of improving the space with additional seating, an agility course, wash station and more.
