Description

**We are open to members-only September29th-April 31st to limit property wear and tear during the wetter months. **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80ยฐ, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80ยฐ, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.ย  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended. Refer to property map for details and don't forget to read our property rules. Security cameras are in use. I look forward to hosting you and your dogs!

Cleanliness

Hazards

Uneven ground in some areas. Moles are always a problem. Feel free to kick dirt into mole holes to fill them as they could pose a trip hazard for your dog. I try and pick up fallen tree branches but sometimes they hide in tall grass areas. Wild blackberry vines are low to the ground and can pose a trip hazard. Please use caution when walking. Wear appropriate shoes in the wet months. Elk and deer poo are possible at certain times of the year. Some dogs love the stuff, others are indifferent. Please be advised. Agility equipment can be hazardous if not used safely. We suggest checking out YouTube videos or consulting a trainer for some great suggestions on how to use them. We have one area (shown on map) where neighbor dogs and people might be seen. I've added privacy screening in this area to help keep distractions and fence meetings at a minimum. Please don't allow dogs to jump on the privacy screening. We are in the country. Animals we have seen on the property in spite of our 5' perimeter fencing include bear, deer, bobcat, eagles, coyotes and a variety of smaller chase-worthy critters. Although these are not common sightings, it's something to be aware of. Small dogs should be watched closely. Even keep an eye to the sky.

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We hope you enjoy your time here. Just a reminder to please pick up the toys and water bowls that you use when here and place them in the 'used/dirty bin'. This ensures a clean space for the pups that visit after you. Thanks! It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, our home and other single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. There are also chickens nearby - see note below. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *๐ŸŽพ๐Ÿ’ฆ For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. There are cleaning materials in case you would like to sanitize or self-clean bowls or toys. Thank you! * ๐ŸฅพThe terrain of the pasture does have some dips, bunny holes and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of longer pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *๐Ÿ’ฆ There is a water jug and spigot with hose in the pasture to use for drinking water. If you use the spigot, please be sure to turn it off. There are small plastic pools available for warm days. You are welcome to use a pool, but please empty it after use and return it to the fenceline area. *๐Ÿ’กwe have 4 sets of string lights on our fence, two small solar spotlights on the fence, and one large spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *๐Ÿ“ There are two hens and one rooster on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you
