55Janet provides plenty of info about the property. Visited at end of summer, so there were burrs and prickly grasses, but easy enough to walk with hiking boots. Lots of smells for a hound. Water in metal trough is clean. Dog toys in a bin at entrance, and people games located in a bin on a picnic table. Goats visible in adjacent field. Look for the small "sniffspot" sign in yard. Very quiet country location. Deb M.

55This sniffspot is really wonderful. It’s on a quiet road in a beautiful country setting. The acreage varied. The front section is pasture, good for throwing balls, and there is a small woodland area in the back with a walking trail. Janet has provided some agility equipment, which was fun, and other toys. My lab liked going through the big culvert and also loved the water trough. The back fence line is not secure and there is a lot of livestock in the neighborhood so dogs need to be able to respect the boundary. I really enjoyed my time here and recommend it. Myrnie D.

55This spot is awesome! Lots of room for the doggos to roam and explore. The spot was clean and had everything you could want in a Sniffspot. There were quality dog toys, picnic area with games for people, places to sit, and fresh water for the dogs in a nice, clean trough. Can’t wait to come back! Camilla E.

55Janet is a very thoughtful host. There’s a fresh drinking bucket, hose, and beach towels if your dog gets muddy. There was a tub of toys that my dog got to pick out a toy (ball always) to play with. There were also agility jumps, so we tried them for the first time ever.
The property was nice and open, very peaceful and quiet. There’s a few sections of forest to walk through as well, so it feels like a lot of different ecosystems going on to explore and amazing smells!
We will definitely be back!

55Celebrated one of my dogs’ birthdays as a party with his friends at this Sniffspot and Janet was so accommodating! She brought down an extra gallon of water for the dogs, some new agility hoops to jump through, and asked if we needed anything else. Thank you for being such an awesome host, Janet!Lauren K.

55Janet goes above and beyond for people and pups. She even has dog towels at the ready for rainy days that she washes on her own for us. So grateful for this gracious and attentive host! Today I was able to take my New family member who I rescued 4 1/2 months ago and have been training. So nice to be able to let her run with a long lead behind her just in case but the fencing worked fine and she had a great time with my other dog.Terri O.

55This property is dog Heaven! Seven wonderful acres, fully fenced -- a little bit of woods and mostly field -- lots to explore! My three dogs absolutely loved it. I met Janet and she was so kind and welcoming. She has a bucket of toys and a picnic table in the area and made sure I knew where dog towels were (if my dogs got muddy) and the water spigot if they needed water. Such a GREAT place! Thank you so much, Janet, for sharing your land with us. Elise S.

55We had so much fun at this gorgeous and huge property. Janet is very kind and met with us beforehand to give us the lowdown of their spot. Our dogs had a blast wrestling and running in the pasture. Trying out the agility course with two excited dogs was hilarious. The bucket of toys was a plus! When they weren’t tumbling around together, they were enjoying the smells and views of the little sheep on the other side of the fence. It just rained the day before but there honestly wasn’t that much mud. 10/10 first sniff spot experience!Julia C.

55My two young Aussies and I spent a lovely early morning hour at this Creswell Sniffspot. The host, Janet, met us as we drove in and gave us a thorough orientation to the property. The dogs loved exploring all 7 acres, field, trees, mole holes, water trough, big tunnel! The odor of the pennyroyal growing throughout the property was delightful. Great place to practice stays and long distance recalls. It did take a few minutes to comb out burrs and towel off the water before we got back in the car, but I expected that and came prepared. We will definitely return again and again to this special place.Linda K.

55Janet wad awesome. She was totally understanding of Doc being reactive and arranged things accordingly. Her property gives me envy. The goats next door were mellow and Doc never even acknowledged them. I really wanted to! I'd definitely go back. Doc said he especially loved the water trough. Robbin L.

FAQ about our Mapleton dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
How can I find dog agility parks in Mapleton?
There are 3 dog agility parks in the Mapleton area. The most popular dog agility park is Doggie & Me Activity Park In Coos Bay. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
