Hi I’m Abby and welcome to the Ferndale Funspot! I have three dogs- 2 cattle dogs and a husky. My yard is the perfect spot for your pup(s) to come play! I have a large trampoline you can use with your pup(s), and a mini pool will be available during the summer. There is a decent amount of space to run, play fetch, and hangout. The spigot on the left side of the yard by the air conditioner can be used to refill the provided water bowls if they are running low. You can also use any of the toys in the yard, as well as additional toys available in the red cooler on the deck. Feel free to hangout on the deck while your pup(s) play! My husky pup would love to meet you and your pup(s) if you would like. We are excited to welcome you to our spot!

This yard is in a family friendly quiet neighborhood in west Warren just south of I-696. The yard is a rectangular open space, there’s a small decorative rock garden in the corner but not much else - no trees or bushes. The single car driveway leads into the backyard. Additionally there is a small cement patio against the back of the house.

Our backyard is nice and sunny with a lot of room to run and play! There is plenty of seating for lounging and to get some shade. Feel free to park in the driveway and use the fence to the right to come right in. I have doggie waste bags and hand sanitizer on the table along with free treats for the dogs and snacks for the owners! Also, there are balls for playing fetch. Feel free to pick some apples 🍎 from the apple tree! Have fun!

Whether your dog wants to run with the wind, relax in a chair, or play in the water this is the perfect shady spot to do it 😉 The yard is mostly shaded by big beautiful oak trees but does get a little sun in spots. While your dog plays you can relax in the hammock or chairs by the fire pit or hang out in the tree swing. Either way y'all be hanging out with ease. If your dog is reactive, I have one dog kitty corner to me, but I can talk to that neighbor. She's a friend of mine and she will keep her dog in while you are here. Please give me a day in advance. Last minute reservations are also welcome, but I'd like to have my yard pristine for my puppies that are new to the yard

Fully fenced yard with mature various trees from maple to cedar. Mixed wood and chainlink fence. Ivy patch to feel like you’re in nature. Plenty of toys for dogs and kids. A gazebo that stays up all year with a firetable and chairs. HerbGrey Parkway is across the street with miles of trails, ponds, and landscaping. A kiddie pool is available spring and summer, and a patch of yard is snow blown in the winter for our little morkie when she goes out. Many dogs in the neighbourhood so your fur friend can bark to their hearts content. There are 2 friendly dogs next door, they may bark but for a second then they go away.

The property is very long and narrow, with a small hill at the very back. It’s a great spot for playing fetch, or if your pooch has the zoomies. My neighbour has trees along the North side of the fence, creating a lot of shade for your furbabies. Theres a picnic table available for you to use, and also a small bistro set off to the side by the gate that you’re welcomed to sit at too. Help yourself to the dog toys that are available in the purple bin, as well as the pile of sticks for fetch. I’ve recently added a tennis ball pool (you could also toss kibble in there), and some agility equipment - an all seasons commercial fibreglass tunnel, and a big wooden spool with a wooden bench to walk along. Feel free to bring some kibble to toss in the new pool noodle pool! It’s a great enrichment activity for dog(s)- trying to search for the kibble through the pool noodle pieces. There’s also drinking water for your dog(s), and a small garbage bin provided for any waste. We have Silkie chickens that stay in their fenced in area on the South side of the property. If you feel the chickens would be too distracting for your dog(s), please let me know and I can try and get them into the coop during your stay. Free wifi available ~ the password will be given when you book your visit. My goal is to have my setup better and better each time you come, so I welcome your feedback and suggestions! We have just under an acre safely fenced in. Easy access through the gate down the driveway. It’s lush with grass, no harmful plants or anything that could harm your dog. It’s a great place to throw balls, play keep away and maybe find a stick from one of our beautiful trees on the property. Enjoy!
