55This was our second visit and we had another wonderful time! The spacious grounds were well maintained and had the perfect balance of what our dog loves for a Sniffspot: a large private property for exploring off leash, big fields to do happy zoomies and play fetch, as well as a nice forested area for interesting sniffs. Thanks again for having us!
55Lovely spot to get out some zoomies and a little exploring. Host was very attentive and kind. Easy to find and my two dogs loved it. Especially chasing each other in the mini forest section.

55One of our favourite places to go! My girl loves the open space where often zoomies take over, the trees and shrubs offer amazing sniffing opportunities and the volleyball sand field brings on extra zoomies 😂 The space is meticulously kept and Frances is an amazing host. 💯 fun times every time we go.

55Went here for the first time today and my dog loved it! Crashed as soon as we got in the car! Tons of running space and great for long distance fetch! Being close to the road made me a bit nervous so if you have a dog that is super unreliable with recall definitely stay in the areas further in. Otherwise great place! Were definitely more mosquitoes than I anticipated, but Frances had a great bin at the entrance with bug spray, sunscreen, bowls, water, poop bags and anything else you might forget. Communication was great and we will definitely be going again!

My dog will be kept in the house at times of bookings so there shouldn’t be any interactions. If you happen to wander to the other side of the property by accident, just try and stay away from the house and windows where my sweet lady can see you.

Description

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We have 5 acres to share with you! Some open field for playing chuck it or frisbee, and others with lots of trees and a bit of trails to explore. Partial fencing and hoping to put more up, but will need the funds and support to do this. Quiet area. We also hope to put more fun things for agility there for the doggies as well ❤️

Hazards

There is a swampy area in the middle of our property. I don’t advise going in there just as there’s lots of broken branches and thickets in there. Also, in the spring…tonnes of mosquitoes, so not advisable. It is available, but just a warning that it’s not really territory we’ve had time to open up and do anything with. There’s also a tree’d area at the back with a pathway, it connects to the other side of our property, so if you wanted to walk through a bit of that, it’s a short journey, but pretty magical if you ask me lol. I’m the opposite side of the property, there’s a sandy area where we put a volleyball court, but the doggies seem to love the sand! There’s a picnic table there as well. We just ask that people stay in away from the main house so that my dog doesn’t see yours and get the big feelings that’s she’s known to have ❤️

Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter.
